Little retreat reminds us of the importance of a place like this. To reappreciate what the wild has to share, not only the physical gifts, but the power to recharge the mind and ground the soul. Lovely spot to be integtated once again with the environment from which we all came!

Sasha's cabin was so peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we were looking for. We were surprised with a delightful welcome: fresh flowers and other little touches to make us feel right at home. A marvelous get-away spot on Lake Winnipeg!

Bond's house is amazing! We spent unforgettable days here. I hope we will be back soon. The house is designed in detail, well-equipped, and uncluttered. The kids like the big hot tub. My wife and I enjoy coffee with a sunrise view of the lake. Can you believe that we stepped onto the ice lake to play football? In a nutshell, we love it.

I booked this home for my family from northern MB as they were being evacuated and couldn’t get good reception to do themselves. From the beginning of my booking to the end of the stay, the hosts were so kind and helpful. They even provided a significant discount for the weekend extension we made. These are rhetorical kinds of people whose business we want to make sure to support because they use their business to help support others in times of crisis. The home was as beautiful as it looks in the photos and my family said their stay was a quiet and relaxing reprieve from the evacuation stress they were under.

We had a slight hiccup with getting into the building when we first arrived, but the host responded right away and we had no other issues during our stay. The bed was super comfortable, we felt right at home, and the location was amazing! So many great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and architecture to check out within just a few blocks. We hope this gem is available the next time we visit!

We have stayed at Hanbury Place in the past when it was owned by a different couple. The suite is virtually the same but with even a few new amenities. One important aspect is that the AC for the suite is now independent of Barbara and David’s home. The AC for the suite is controllable for the suite from within the suite. Barbara and David were excellent with timely, responsive communication to all of our questions. This place is so good that you sometimes feel you should extend your stay in the area just to be in this suite. For us, it is something we check before booking our flights. We know there are frequent flights to Brandon and Winnipeg but Hanbury Place is not always available. So we like to lineup the accomodation and then the flights. Backwards we know but we like to stay in nice places. Pricing is great - value the same as Best Western Plus. Highly recommended . Wonderful view of Brandon - looking south from the outdoor balcony. Visiting Winnipeg to work at a convention. The suite was a reasonably short drive from the airport and easy to find. The RBC Center where the convention was held was accessible by a 5-7$ cab ride. Though we didn’t have much time to explore outside of work there were a handful of good restaurant options close by, including a Browns on the same block just around the corner which was nice to have an easy go to. The suite provided everything we needed as our base camp and Yuri was an excellent host. He was very friendly and communicative throughout our stay.

Heathers place was nice and quiet. Perfect for studying. Look forward to returning.

This was our third AirBNB in this area and we agreed it was our favourite. Very well laid out for 2 couples. Great kitchen and dining space for cooking meals together. Beautiful bathroom. The hot tub and fuse ball table were lovely perks! So was the gas fireplace. We could keep the space at a comfortable temperatures Although there was not a lakeside view from inside, a quick 30 second walk around the house got us there. Beds were comfortable - one room had a softer mattress than the other which accommodated different preferences. Instructions were very clear with lots of local recommendations. We would come back!
