Caravan holiday rentals in Lake Michigan

We came up for the Garth Brooks concert and stayed in David & Ann’s RV. Ann met us and had the RV ready, chairs, table and a cooler setup and ready for us. It was only a 5 minute walk to the stadium. It’s the perfect setup for tailgating and attending an event.

Carrie's camper was magnificent. Perfect little getaway for a couple and pets. Bedroom mattress was so comfortable. The campground was so peaceful and you could hear every nature sound. It was an amazing trip and Carrie was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay with the kids too.

Super easy to get to and very quiet. Would like a lower price option since there is no electric or water, but was convenient for what we needed. Great little spot!

Very nice place to stay, The hosts were very polite and made sure everything was perfectly well in tact. They also surprised me with a map of all parks in the county which was totally awesome. Recommend staying at their lodge 10/10. Beautiful scenery and If you’re into the outdoors/ riding / there’s endless fun out there. My wife and I Will be visiting there again in the future.

We had a great time. It was a fun adventure to stay in an Airstream RV. We loved the location; it was just minutes from the beach and had great hiking trails.

Very nice camper, extremely clean, and very friendly host. Great communication as well. Included plenty of fresh linens and towels which was nice not to have to bring.

It took me a little to figure out the light situation. Most notably how to turn on the lights in the bathroom. I don[t know if I was informed or not but the only thing I wasn't prepared for was there was no coffee pot. I brought all that with me and couldn't find one. The truth is that that may have been mentioned but i didn't see it. If you are using this place for fishing headquarters it's great. also not far from food tackle ect.

The camper we stayed in was spotlessly clean and had all of the amenities we needed. All of the kitchen pots and pans dishes glasses and silverware were easily available. The fridge and freezer were spotlessly clean as was everything else. The queen size bed was super comfortable. This was our first time staying in a camper trailer, and it far exceeded our expectations. We had come to kayak on the Pine River, and found the location of the Airbnb was perfect for getting around to our drop in and take out points.

Was beautiful! Hosts were very responsive, offered local recommendations and went out of their way to improve our stay beyond what was expected. Would definitely recommend staying.

Absolutely adorable, peaceful, and amazing location! The camper was super clean!!! The staff are all friendly! It had everything you could possibly need in it too! Heater, fan, coffee press, a/c, hair dryer, even fresh cut flowers! It had literally everything!!! The heated pool was absolutely phenomenal! The hiking trails were amazing too! It was such a peaceful get away! We enjoyed hiking the trails with our dog, swimming, and playing games while looking at the beautiful scenery around us! Can’t wait to go back again!!!!

We loved the camping "feel" without the campground noise and chaos. It was a quiet getaway and close to good hiking trails and the lake towns.

It was nice, the host is kind, and the location is peaceful. It's like an adventure. The RV is clean, and well kept, and has the best view of the tree and horses alike. Our mastiffs went up to look at the horses and they did not spook. The horses seem tame and happy. The RV also has a nice deck, and a swing for a great view of the sunset. The bed is very comfortable and check out is flexible, communication with the host is awesome. We accidentally took the key, and the host was very understanding of it. Peaceful spot at the end of the state street. Will def come back.

Loved my stay in the bus. It was just the getaway I was looking for. I found the bed very comfortable. If you're into the glamping lifestyle, this is a stay for you!

Exactly what I needed to get away from it all. Quiet, cozy, and almost no phone signal to speak of (which is intended)! Trails around the grounds are well marked and easily traversable, and there’s plenty of wood to use for the fire. Everything was clean and working well and the place was exactly as described. Big shoutout to Sondra for helping me put up my tent and having treats for the dogs. You’re a lifesaver!

Was a very nice stay. If you’re tall (I’m 6’3”) your feet might hang off the bed but it is a camper! Very clean and good location. Was a great price compared to most rentals in the area for summer/holiday weekends. Would recommend for someone who doesn’t mind a little bit of a tighter space for a great price and location. Plenty of toiletries and clear instructions. I was pleasantly surprised for my first time staying in a camper.

Carrie and Matt hosted our family in their portable trailer for our family Of four. We dropped the ball on other bookings, and declined others due to high cleaning rates. The location was perfect as I am from Onekama, which is basically down the road. We arrived fairly late so it was setup for us to get settled and get some rest quickly. They have a dog and two cats that our daughter really enjoyed, as well as being surprised by the roaming chickens. We were free to use the pool which was a huge hit for all of us. There is a tv that doesn’t have service but a dvd player with some dvd’s which allowed us to watch Back To The Future on numerous occasions throughout the weekend! All in all a cool experience and are open to future bookings.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the company of Robert and the goats. The property is a quick drive to multiple beaches (we liked Barnes park best, go early for shade and one of the few available beachside parking spaces. The store is a walkable distance. We found the airstream to be temperate all day and even cool enough to require a sweater at night. Great experience "glamping" with my 12 yo who would "definitely!!!" return. We enjoyed using the grill outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Jennifer had clear instructions and they were also very descriptive. She made everything very easy and stress free, the place was amazing looked great, felt great. I 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I decided to go up north for the weekend for a quick birthday getaway/fall color trip. Most lodging, both in Grayling and surrounding areas, were fully booked, including our normal spots, but thankfully we found Sara’s place, which will now be added to our list of go to places to stay while in the area! The place was easy to find, exactly as described, clean, and overall really cozy. Sara is quick to respond (no issues, just a quick question) and the addition of a couple fresh pastries upon our arrival was a nice surprise! We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and relaxing during the evening. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we definitely plan on returning in the near future hopefully to enjoy a longer stay. Highly recommend!!

Lovely stay at this beautiful camper! throughly enjoyed ourselves

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

Another great stay here at LOWC. Host was great as always! Everyone is always so friendly & we were warmly invited, in person, to the Sunday potluck. We will certainly be back!
