Welcome to our house in the woods! 12 acres surrounded by trees and above a series of waterfalls along the Stony Kill, which runs all the way from Minnewaska State Park through our property and into downtown Accord. You can sit in a hammock outside, soak in our hot tub while listening to the river, or chill out inside with some tunes or the TV projector. Budding entomologists will enjoy the endless procession of bugs, ants, spiders, ticks, and other creepy-crawlies that is part of River House.

You will stay in a house that forms part of the history of the Gunks, and today makes a perfect base for hikers, climbers, runners, cyclists and cross-country skiers. The 65-mile network of carriage roads in Minnewaska State Park Preserve and the Mohonk Preserve is accessible just a few hundred yards from a historic modernized house. You can explore swimming holes and lakes, many miles of more rugged trails, and the popular climbing area (Gunks) of Peter’s Kill, just a 5-minute walk away.

Welcome to this newly renovated oasis on the banks of Rondout Creek and Rail Trail. We are just minutes from year-round attractions including Minnewaska State Park and The Gunks. Enjoy all the amenities of a larger house including the hot tub (open year round including the winter), fireplace, fire pit, mini-golf course, gym, and speakeasy (recreation room) with pool table and ping pong. We also have lots of games, a record player and other activities.
