Villa holiday rentals in Lake Nicaragua

The property was everything we could wish for, it felt like an oasis once inside. Very spacious with charming decor and an inviting pool. The area felt safe and secure and very handy for the plaza and parque central. Tania was extremely helpful and flexible, very warm, welcoming and friendly. She was always in hand for advice and support. Arturo communicated well. The staff in the adjoining Gaia Cafe were also very friendly and welcoming. Were we to return to Granada we would definitely stay there again.

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

This might have been my favorite AirBnB experience ever! Mary Jane goes above and beyond to take care of you. You're not just staying at Mary Jane's place, you are getting someone who will take care of all your needs. She will organize taxis for you to/from the airport or anywhere in Nicaragua. She gives local recommendations for anything to do in SJDS. The place itself is amazing. The pool was the best part, we used it everyday in the hot weather. It is a very spacious house, with A/C in every room, so it was easy to sleep at night. There are 3 dogs on the property as well that are super friendly :) The location of Casa Lakshmi is ideal as well. You are right in the middle of everything. Perhaps the only thing I would share is if you are trying to work remotely and take any video meetings, the Wifi was a tad slow, and sometimes it was hard to take a Zoom call. But it was a very minor inconvenience, and that should not stop you from staying here. 6 out of 5 stars! Book now!

Hana was a great host! Her place is beautiful and modern, nicely nestled in a lush jungle environment. You can tell that she put a lot of work into her home — high quality furniture, artisan utensils, beautiful bowls and plates — the Airbnb had all the amenities you can think of, and whenever we had issues, Hana was always prompt to resolve them for us. We can’t wait to be back!

We loved our time at Casa Bloom. It easily accommodated our large group. It was a beautiful, clean space. Tania and Coco were quick te respond to any questions and check in was quick and easy!

Great place, to enjoy as a family. Spaces and amenities in excellent condition. Definitely a place I recommend visiting.

We had a wonderful time at this house, it had everything we were looking for, very private and literally views on views, also Courtney and the house staff were very professional and proactive, the communication was excellent! We will be happy to be back on our next trip to San Juan del Sur!

A super cozy place, with all the conditions you need to spend a few days on the beach !! Excellent and recommended

The home was beautiful and so was the location. We were barely home, but when we were there it was beautiful. A few things I would recommend is to make sure you have a 4x4 SUV to make getting to the property easier. The other thing would be to stop and buy some necessities, like paper towels for the kitchen. Other than that our stay was lovely. The home was way bigger than we needed, and it was 10 of us.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach villa in Nicaragua! The location is perfect – just steps away from the best beach, where we could enjoy stunning sunsets and the sound of the waves all day long. The villa itself is beautiful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We felt completely secure throughout our stay, with a peaceful and safe atmosphere. An added bonus were the stairs down to the beach….which added some daily exercise. We would stay here again – it was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

Unbelievable Ocean View Home with Resort Amenities, Perfectly Located! We had the pleasure of staying in this stunning home, just a block away from town and four blocks from the beach. The ocean views from the property are truly unbelievable! Every morning, we were greeted with breathtaking panoramas that made each day special. The home is located in a private, safe and quiet gated community which offers resort-like amenities including a full time concierge, a club house, snack bar and swimming pool, outdoor gym, co-working space and even chef and massage services, that added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The proximity to both the town and beach was incredibly convenient, allowing us easy access to local shops, restaurants, and seaside activities without needing to drive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious escape with exceptional views and prime location!

Pablo’s place has a beautiful view and place is spotless and spacious. For my listing I put down 14 guest and even though we had that many people there was more than enough room for everyone to get comfortable and do their thing. The person in charge of taking care of the house is Santiago, he is super friendly/reliable and fast to help guests with anything during the stay. (I hope Pablo takes good care of him!!). I would definitely recommend him to anyone and stay here again if I visit San Juan del Sur again.

Absolutely amazing experience staying at window in Las olas. 2nd time visiting hacienda iguana and I didn’t think it would be possible to top our first trip but we decided to stay at a different house and boy, this place exceeded our expectations - very clean, spacious, and directly in front of Playa Colorados. Highly recommend doing a catering option for food if you’re traveling with a group of people… ask for Martha! James was so easy to work with and we all are excited to book again next year!

Very beautiful place to stay, you can literally walk right up to the ocean.

The beach house was amazing, exactly the peace and quiet we were looking for. Having the beach right outside the gate was incredible, and we found plenty of great restaurants just a short drive away. The team was super friendly and responsive; Harry and Ossiel made sure everything went smoothly throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Overall, a great experience!

We recently stayed at Dan's house for five days; we were a group of six. The property itself was great, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space to move around. I saw some reviews saying that you need a 4x4 to get there. We rented a Toyota Rush with a small engine, six people, with six carry-on bags and backpacks, and we were able to get in and out of the house. We want to give a shout-out to the caretakers who live onsite. One of the A.C. units broke down, so I called Harry, the property manager, and he sent out a Tech. Within 20 minutes, he was there to fix it. Well done! We will stay at Casa Irie next time we visit SJDS.

My group and I loved our stay at this mountain top villa. The place was clean, as pictured, hosts were attentive and the views were spectacular (especially from the master bedroom’s balcony.) It’s a bit difficult to get up the road with a normal vehicle but other than that, it was absolutely worth the slight struggle. Be advised- you’re within wildlife so expect to see and hear insects, toads, birds, etc right outside your door. AC was amazing to cool off and the house was well ventilated. We greatly appreciated the full kitchen since we mostly cooked- not a lot of restaurants or markets around the area so you might want to make sure you come prepared with food/drinks before you make your way up the mountain. There were several points of beach access specifically for use of those renting this villa- make use of them! Definitely one of the more memorable Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at. We saw a couple other houses while we explored the neighborhood and this one really is one of the best!

We had a beautiful family experience at Cara y su Casa Cartagena. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for a weekend filled with shared meals and fun. The rustic style was absolutely charming, but what truly stood out was the incredible assistance from the cleaning and maintenance staff. They were attentive at all times and managed to resolve minor issues in record time. It was a perfect stay, and we would return without a doubt.

We had such a great time staying here with a group of our friends! It’s walking distance to Panga Drops which is a huge plus for any one who surfs! Rooms are spacious with a king bed which is awesome and each room has its own AC. Also, we had our toddler with us and they had a ton of stuff for us which was so helpful so definitely baby friendly for anyone bringing their kids! We spent lots of time in the pool, biking around, surfing, and hanging out at the house. Thanks so much for everything!

We had an amazing stay here. We actually wished we had an extra day to just chill and enjoy the pool and view. Saw so many birds, monkeys, and a sloth. Def need an SUV for the area and the roads leading to the house. Also, you are in the wild, so expect critters to be around. Nothing was in our bed, and we slept fine, though! Communication was quick and easy, and everything was great. We were glad we were away from the noise of the town and figured we would have to drive to the beaches anyway, so we might as well get something with a view! 10/10 recommend!
