This is an incredible stay, a perfect oasis with beautiful architecture details, fresh air with great fans and ac in the bedroom. The garden is so beautiful. We loved our stay and will definitely be coming back to casa cairo

Beautiful spot- steps from the beach which is such a bonus traveling with kids. The view from each balcony was so nice. The small private pool was perfect too. I was in the master bedroom and the a/c worked great at night. We brought our paddle boards and the bay was a perfect spot for that. We saw a sea turtle! Our host was very communicative and accommodating. The beach bar/restaurantwas very disappointing. The first day they didn’t have fruit so no smoothies or blended drinks. The second day all they had available was beer and shots. So bring your own drink and food so you don’t get stuck without! We were a little disappointed that the beautiful sliding patio doors didn’t have a screen so we couldn’t keep them open for an ocean breeze (flys and mosquitos). We had a wonderful time and will definitly come back!

A beautiful place, easy access, excellent for getting there with the family.

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

Words are hard to explain how beautiful this house is. It is very exclusive with its infinity pool and direct access to the pristine waters of Laguna de Apoyo. The house itself is impeccable with everything you could imagine and very well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Coffee lovers will be delighted by the coffee grinder and fresh coffee beans provided by staff to brew a fresh delicious pot of Nicaraguan coffee in the morning! I loved it so much I bought an extra bag of the beans! Another step further, the breakfast at the beach club with the option of them delivering to the house is amazing. Make sure to place your order early to give the staff enough time to cook and deliver to the house. The driveway to the house from the wooden gate is a bit steep so make sure you have a vehicle that’s 4x4 - our 15 passenger van barely made it back up. The host and all the staff members are amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Beautiful place to stay in Granada!

It was a fabolous home! It was stunning, peaceful, private, clean and felt like a home away from home. Ana was very good at communicating with me in absolutely everything so big Thank You to her! They really put together some great things. Had water already in the fridge and come condiments for us to use. The air conditioning isn’t has cool as I’m use too. They do have fans everywhere. Would love to stay here again and again!

Having reviewed the pictures, description, and reviews ahead of making our reservation, we were not met with any surprises. Upon our 1 week stay we were particularly impressed with the thought that went into designing and staging the home. It sits at the intersection of lush greenery and the ocean. This makes for the most breathtaking views of the ocean, sunset, birds, or even monkeys swinging on the trees at a distance. One thing with planning and cost implications that we underestimated was the key need for a vehicle to get around. However, the host proactively provided a reliable solution for this along with recommendations for local spots and activities. We will gladly stay again

The house is old and wooden, giving it a unique and nostalgic personality. It is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities expected of a BnB. It has a very large garden space where our pet was able to explore and feel free. An excellent experience would be back again.

Delighted with the facilities, Jimmy and Sara super attentive, likewise your butler. It is a beautiful place with everything to feel at home, I love that has an Electric Emergency Generator. Soon we will be back has fascinated us a lot!

We stayed in the house next to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a good size and well lit. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere. I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate your stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

We loved CasAnica, it was in a great location, close to both beaches and a regular shuttle also was available to get us into San Juan Del Sur when we needed. Tony was also a great and accommodating host. We hope to come back to Nicaragua and stay again!

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to book this place in San Juan. A real gem a short walk from town with great access to everything. The house is incredible with everything that you need to have a great time - jacuzzi, BBQ, amazing kitchen all surrounded by incredible views. if you book with Tanguy, you will not be disappointed! The location is great. few seconds and you are on a wonderful beach with an amazing sunset. the house is clean with white towels and sheets. there is a shower and a sink right in the master bedroom, worked perfectly for us! almost no bugs inside. mosquitoes are brutal in the evening! as soon as sun goes down you want to get inside asap! our spray didn't work. I missed that part the place doesn't have AC's, so it gets a little too hot during the day. we opened all windows and turned on the fans and during the night it gets better. if you're planning to cook, get everything you may need: oil, salt, spices. Also kids met crabs on the beach. They burrow themselves into the sand and can pinch you quite painfully if you are too close to them. I opted to wear watershoes, but my husband was ok to be there barefoot 😄 there is a little convenient store 1 min away if you need a milk or something else. the owner provides a clean drinkable water. overall a great experience, would recommend!

The house is amazing, you have access to the beach right in front of you, only recommendation for anybody is to bring your own food from a local supermarket as there is an hour drive off road(4x4 recommended) after reaching san juan, the place is very private, you have the beach for yourself, the house is very clean, enough rooms, and spacious. Local housekeeper was very useful as he can go buy you items at extra cost while you enjoy your time, final score 10/10.

Unbelievable location. Right on the beach in front of an amazing break. House is open and beautiful. Perfect indoor outdoor living. Just absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing week and fell in love with the community there. It’s a very special place and James is an excellent host- very responsive. We hope to be back!

Perfect beachfront cozy home you have everything you need there Just bring groceries from la colonia in Rivas we truly enjoyed it our kids did not want to leave!!! We will be back !!

A spectacular house I recommend it 100%, Don Eliecer always attentive when I contact him! The place super safe and easily to get to! The house itself is well equipped and they have a very technological system I loved it! I would come back a thousand times

Home is absolutely beautiful. Surfing was awesome and so convenient. Great options for restaurants with great food. Over the top customer service! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back! Some tips: Bring cash to avoid credit card fees. Rent a car if you are planning to do sightseeing outside property otherwise renting a golf cart works great. Watch for fisherman on beach selling lobster, etc to cook up for dinner in the beautiful kitchen. Fly into Nicaragua vs Liberia, (if relevant), you’ll save a lot of time and headache crossing the border. Schedule fishing expedition through your host, they have great connections and we came home with lots of fresh fish for dinner. Buy groceries on the way, onsite grocery store is limited and more expensive. Take advantage of market on certain days of the week for fresh fruit and vegetables. Make sure you get everything you need, this property doesn’t stock the basics (eg salt, pepper,etc)

Carmen is great to communicate with and her home is beautiful. The beach is your backyard and there was security during the duration of our trip, so we felt safe the whole time. The housekeepers made us breakfast on one of the days we were there which was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.
