Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake O' the Pines

Lakehouse on Lake O the Pines has a lot of great recreation options. We loved swimming in the lake, playing on the sandy beaches, kayaking, and just lounging around the house. We had a great stay.

We had a very late check in but no problem finding the house in the dark. Check in was a breeze. Lots of parking, fenced yards, beautiful outdoor spaces, covered porches, lots of seating and games. Wildlife everywhere, the lake breeze smelled so good! House was clean and nicely decorated. They provided everything you need. The house felt like a home with lots of space. There were so many things to do and see. We must sneak away again! Hosts were incredible, responsive and patient. Would recommend for a stay away from home to anyone without reservation. Thank you again, we had the best time!

I booked this stay for a weekend girls’ trip, and when we first pulled into the neighborhood, we were a little unsure since it’s next to a trailer park that had a few nearby homes that were a little rugged. Naturally, our first thought as a group of women was about our surroundings, but that ended up being a complete non-issue!! Don’t judge this property by that! The area was quiet, peaceful, and felt totally safe. The property itself seems like a newer addition and was beautiful inside and out! It was clean, spacious, and very well decorated. We loved the extra touches like cotton balls, Q-tips, and feminine products in the bathrooms, plus a well-stocked kitchen with a great ice maker and coffee bar setup. The back patio and private lake deck were perfect for relaxing, and we loved watching ducks and geese by the water all weekend. The host was super responsive when we had a tiny sink issue where they had someone out within an hour to fix it! We would hands down definitely return!

This was our first little family vacation for our blended family. It was absolutely the best and absolutely beautiful place we chose from. There was plenty of beds for a family of 6, 4 teens and 2 adults, couch space, and dining. The teens LOVED the slide on the side to use instead of the stairs! It's close enough for little day trips to Lindale and Jefferson; and the bait store was a short 10min drive. We would definitely chose this place again every time. We'd give this place 5+ stars if we could!

There was nothing wrong with our stay. My husband said just one request to Mrs Donna, please put a TV in the bedroom lol . I would highly recommend this place. our family loved it our kids loved it. We were sad to leave. But we will be making another reservation. Thank you Mrs Donna and Mr Paul for making our stay perfect on Easter 🐣

Candace was VERY responsive! We had severe storms while we were there and she made sure to keep us updated when the electricity went out as she knew anything on when it would be back on. The house itself was a lot nicer than the pictures could do justice for! There were A LOT of deer at night and birds in the morning. We loved enjoying coffee out on the porch. I would highly recommend staying here.

Tammie was one of the most gracious hosts I have encountered. she was very helpful and flexible. she even helped my friends with a place to stay as well! Grade A 100% class act!

We loved everything about this place! Its peaceful, clean, & spacious. This is definitely one of the best properties we've visited. From the enclosed pool, to the outdoor grilling area and volleyball net, we had a blast! Thanks for making our anniversary a trip to remember!

Stayed in the Sproul cabin, very nice setup along the lake. Great views and local, loved the fire pit at night and all the provided wood. We were in town for an event at nearby Barnwell mountain so didn't get to spend enough time at the cabin, but looking forward to staying next year!

Great place and nature. The place is located right by river and it is very peaceful and more beutiful than pictures. I definitely will go back.

Alisha's cabin was perfect very cute decor, and very clean, I would highly recommend her cabin to anyone, and alisha is a great host seem to be super friendly and communicated well.

We enjoyed the cabin feel and that we were able to book the cabin last minute! We decided to come a day early and my husband loves the outdoors so this was perfect for him to have space to get out and roam after our drive! The beds weren’t super comfy but for a cabin I was surprised at how nice and welcoming it all was!

The property in Lone Star was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I really appreciated the property manager's proactive contact before arriving regarding check-in, and an issue that had happened due to storms in the area which they took care of before our arrival. The house is very cozy, and a comfortable space to share with family. We didn't get to take advantage of the bonfire area, or the outside patio as we were very busy being out there primarily to take care of issues with my Dad's passing, and his Celebration of Life. There were a couple of small things that I noticed that hopefully could be addressed easily, but I would definitely stay there again. The location was great, the surrounding area beautiful and peaceful, and the space was very comfortable :)
