Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake of the Woods

The place was very cozy, felt right at home. The neighborhood was quiet yet minutes away from Dc sights. Everything was well thought out and details covered from kitchen items to bathroom amenities. Very convenient having laundry too as it was raining when we arrived and we were able to launder our wet clothes! Keatons recommendations were thorough and helpful in planning meals. Would absolutely stay again.

Erin’s place is the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed at. The shower is huge and the water pressure is better than what I have at home. There’s plenty of room for luggage, and she supplies everything you would need for a nice little getaway. I’ll be booking through Erin every time I’m visiting Virginia.

APARTMENT: The house is in a beautiful neighborhood that felt incredibly safe, which was a big relief. Plenty of parking. The apartment itself was immaculate and had everything anyone could ever need. The host even provided snacks which we were so grateful for after driving 8+ hours and then sitting through a graduation ceremony! HOST: We drove from Ohio with absolutely nothing planned out other than knowing we had to be at a graduation ceremony immediately upon arrival. I came across this listing and messaged the host. Lena was very responsive and was so kind to accommodate a much appreciated early check in. She provided very clear and easy to follow instructions for check in/out. Absolutely 10/10 stay, and with family in the area, this will absolutely be the 1st place we check when planning our future trips! Thank you so much!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful! We had a great stay here, and it was in a nice part of town. Plenty of places to eat as well. The apartment was as described.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

Place is as described. Very clean and convenient, relative quiet and is close to the Metro Stn. Definitely recommend using the Metro rather than driving, load up $$ on the Metro card as you go would suffice rather than the Metro Pass. Family of 7 visiting DC. The apartment appears older but it’s well updated. Would have like to have more toiletries given our group but it was fine. Garage Parking was great.

Really enjoyed my time there, great location just a few minutes drive to the National Mall. Great, quiet community, felt right at home, host does an A+ job on communication and is there for any questions or concerns, would highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem, I loved it, everything is clean, tidy, the views are incredible, my family and I had a great time celebrating my birthday.

We really enjoyed our time at Kate’s house. It was clean and nice, just like shown in the pictures. Also she was very responsive and helpful.

Andy and Ling’s house is gorgeous!! So beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The game room is beyond cool! The kitchen has everything you need to cook. This house is the perfect getaway for a large family!!!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating dinner and playing games on the deck while looking out on the lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful (even when we accidentally left something behind). I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Colby's place was a great place to stay. clean, felt at home and very thoughtful host. Hopefully next time I can book a longer stay as this was a very nice place to relax

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Good apartment. Comfortable, clean. "3 beds" includes a couch. We were 1 adult and 2 teenagers. Teens slept in bedrooms, adult on couch, all good although there were no sheets for "bed 3" (the couch), just a blanket we found in a closet. Neighbors are very active; someone seemed to be moving furniture all day upstairs until about 10pm but then quiet all night. Apartment is well equipped with towels, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher. Super clean. Location was perfect for my family's needs around S. Alexandria/Hybla Valley area. Lots of shops and restaurants in easy driving distance. Great AirBnB experience overall, would love to be able to return. :)

Stay met our needs! Kitchen was very nice to cook in and was very clean.

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

My friends and I were in town for an important event that would demand much of our time, so we wanted to secure a place that would require much effort. Thanks to Isaac's hospitality and communication, we had a most enable and carefree travel experience. He could not have been more proactive in his pre-stay message, nor more responsive to our questions after we arrived.

Beautiful location, up the hill from the water! Great fishing and easy to get around the local area! House was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. Bed was comfortable! They've thought of everything! Will visit again!

Excellent place to stay for a week's travel in Washington DC. What a beautiful and peaceful area with the Italian restaurant nearby. highly recommended.
