This is a fabulous cabin on the lake!! We ended up having our family of 4 plus a niece stay here during a family reunion in Kingston and this was wonderful! I like getting out of town, and this feels out in the woods, yet only a 20 minute drive to Kingston. The communication with Danielle and Jorden was immediate. The instructions to get to the cabin are clear. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, the beds are very comfortable, the showers are great (but low pressure if something else, like the dishwasher, is running) The setting is in absolute paradise. The lake, the deck, the dock, the chairs, the fire pit, the hot tub... wow!Unfortunately for us, the weather was not great so we did not make good use of all the outdoor amenities. But even in the rain, it was so lovely to walk some of the nearby Cataraqui Trail. I will definitely try to make my way back to this Airbnb, hopefully in the warmer months.

Had a great time here. Beautiful space, immaculate, and was exactly as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and backyard, and the view of the river was fantastic. Great location, was minutes away from the beach and other shops. There’s a cute ice cream parlour right across the street as well which was great for the kids. Would highly recommend.

Loved this quaint little cottage right on the lake. The view from the desk made working a pleasure, and mornings spent outside with a coffee watching the birds were a highlight. Super cozy and well-equipped, with everything you need. The size is perfect for a couple or small family. Great location near Lakefield—peaceful and scenic.

Me and my husband and son had an amazing time staying at Jennifer's cozy cabin while we explored the finger lakes region. It was truly a slice of heaven, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the world. It felt utterly private and peaceful, very comfortable, very beautiful, the decor of the cabin was calming, the hot tub was excellent, wonderful furry and feathery friends came to visit us every day in the yard. Jennifer was always helpful and proactive but we didnt need anything! We had everything we needed. I cant recommend this cabin enough if you are looking for a serene and peaceful getaway close by to natural wonders.

Ewa and Hugh are amazing hosts who offer their little piece of paradise! it is a beautiful spot in the middle of the nowhere. very remote and serene location. has a cute cabin just by the waters and they also provide kayaks and boat. Ewa was available throughout for anything we needed. would definitely recommend their place and visit again!

One of the best hosts I’ve had the pleasure speaking with. Brenda provided tons of information prior to check in, made the check in/out process seamless. We came here for a wedding in the area and felt right at home. If you looking for a weekend away with a homey feel this is the place for you! Thank you Brenda! We can’t wait to be back!

We loved our little stay here. It's great for a relaxing long weekend. Lots of great places to eat and drink within driving distance. The views were amazing! Gorgeous water and was fun to see Toronto in the distance. We definitely underestimated the presence of the bugs. Krista does warn that they come out in the summer, but they were everywhere by the water. Definitely hampered our time spent outside but if you can ignore the bugs you'll be fine. Krista was a wonderful communicator and the place was spotless.

We came up for the weekend to escape life for the weekend and this was an amazing choice. You can literally walk out the back door and look at the water from the deck. The house has all the amenities you could need and plenty of extras. Host was very responsive and gave us some recommendations while in the area. Only an hour from Niagara Falls. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely return.

This cottage is very conveniently located close to Brighton and Presquile Park. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Instructions were very clear. The hosts responded to any questions we had within less than 30 minutes, and were very helpful. There are a number of stairs, both inside & outside, but we knew that from the pictures. Thank you for being great hosts!

we absolutely loved staying on this beautiful, spacious cottage! the neighbor is quiet but friendly. went running a few times and felt completely safe! if you enjoy being in nature, the back yard has many birds and a very friendly bunny! you can sit on the sea wall or in the back yard and here the lake! sail boat racing every Tuesday night, 6pm! loved having the ping ping and pool table all in 1 space! Grill was well used by us! owners were quick to welcome us and respond to all our questions! it's also very easy to get to! we will be back again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jessica & David’s cabin. It was on a lovely property surrounded by an orchard and it was very private. The cabin itself was clean and cozy and they had lots of personal touches. They were very responsive to any questions we had and we will make sure to book with them again if we are in the area :)

Not only was the AirBnB incredibly clean and such a beautiful stay, but also hosted by the best of the best! Robin and Dustyn were attentive and kind as soon as we booked. They checked in on us during the stay and made sure everything ran smoothly. The property itself was beautiful- the home was cozy and the views were so peaceful. We actually ended up making friends with the neighbors in the area and buying farm fresh eggs down the road. The AirBnB stay could not have been a better experience. I spent my bachelorette weekend with three friends at Amanda and Josh’s cottage, and it was absolutely perfect. We were lucky with the weather and got to spend lots of time outside - playing badminton, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and soaking in the stunning view. The fire pit and fireplace table were such cozy touches, especially in the evenings. We made great use of the kitchen and loved lounging in the den. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!

“Ventura Lake House “ is nothing short of magical. The cottage is so comfortable and eclectic, furniture with fascinating pieces of art made by the hosts. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable as was every space on the property, inside and outdoors. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything a person might need. Christine even left a special birthday treat for our son and croissants as well as many staples in the fridge. Our favorite part was sitting on an Adirondack chair just watching and listening to Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back again and again. So grateful that Christine and Paul offer this beautiful place — and their many creative talents — for others to enjoy! Thank you!

We needed to get away for a few days for some R&R with peace & quiet and this spot did all that. From the moment we booked the trip until the day we left Carol was there when we needed her (which luckily we never really had to reach out). Check in was easy, the cottage was perfect. It was clean, had plenty of blankets, towels & even had shampoo/conditioner & body wash. She gifted us a bottle of wine in the fridge, nice & cold & ready to drink. The views when you walked in the door took our breath away - a picture window with views of the lake. Outside we found plenty of seating and fire pit with wood provided. Nice set of stairs to go down to the water. The bed, daybed & furniture were comfortable. We had fans to us if needed. We basically stayed & enjoyed the property with a fire going & just took in the quietness. We have promised ourselves that we will be back at least 1x a year, thankfully we are only two hours south. Carol - Thank you for allowing use to enjoy!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway very much, We came for rest and relaxation and that is what we got The view from our front lawn overlooking the lake was like a little piece of heaven. If you are looking for a local sweet spot with an amazing view and private beach, look no further. This cottage is the sweetest piece of local history made into a cozy respite with friendly neighbors. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake was incredible ! The cottage has everything you need and is in a great location to be on the lake and also visit Rochester and the surrounding areas. The bed, pillows, throw blankets are so comfortable and the electric fire on the wall for ambient light is a great touch! My daughter and I came for a girls getaway and next time we are in town, I hope this cottage is available so we can stay again!

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.
