Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lake Pontchartrain

This was exactly the right choice for our small wedding. The home and yard were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Everything was easy to find in the home, the home was so inviting too! Just really had the best time, everyone in the family that attended also loved it. There were nothing but compliments! And Dick was probably the best host I've ever had. He was on top of things communication-wise! I thank him so much for everything. He really made my wedding so perfect.

We had the best time here!! Stayed for my bachelorette with a big group and had plenty of room for activities and enough space to feel not cramped. If you’re wanting to be close to the French quarter but not too close to the chaos, this is a perfect location! Ubers everywhere were about 10-15 minutes. The jacuzzi and pool were awesome. Even though the pool was shared we had it to ourselves basically the whole time. Highly recommend this place for a NOLA weekend visit!!

My family stayed here for a weekend-long celebration of my birthday, and it was perfect for 10 adults - large well-provisioned kitchen, ample bathrooms, and large comfortable bedrooms. It's worth noting though that 3 of the bedrooms are attached railroad style, which was fine for us. The pool area was also beautiful and chill to relax after a few long days of being out and about. Highly recommend a stay here!

I'll start by saying ... WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! The house was exquisite ... everywhere you turned you saw some cool new find - a beautiful old quilt, a framed antique beaded purse and a skeleton key hanging from every cabinet with a cool, different tassel. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of big fluffy towels in the bathroom and really comfy ( and beautiful) beds. The screen porch, pool and hot tub were used often during our 5 night stay. They had lots of beach towels and we brought our own blow up pool chairs to lounge around in. Tyler and Josh were VERY responsive to our few questions. Very conveniently located 1/2 block from a grocery store and Starbucks. Walked the neighborhood and had lunch at the Ruby Slipper and beignets from Loretta's. Again ... we can't wait to come back. The house was AMAZING.

Super cute house—very clean, comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were fantastic! The only minor inconvenience was the lack of shade in the pool area, and there were only four lounge chairs and four regular chairs, which wasn’t quite enough since the space is shared by five houses. That said, the host was friendly, helpful, and very responsive, which made our stay even better. Overall, we had a great experience and are definitely planning to stay here again!

This Airbnb is beautiful! We rented this space for a girls weekend and it was truly stunning. The house is beautifully done, and the bathrooms are truly something else with the giant soaking tub. The only catch was that we went to the wrong door initially and then realized the true front door was the one a little further back and to the side. The house is gorgeous, the pool is lovely, and the hosts were really responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed the location, it was close to Magazine Street and the French Quarter but still in a quiet part of town. I would highly recommend this house to stay in!

We loved this lovely home. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The house was roomy and comfortable. Pool was the perfect size for our group and the area under the house was so pleasant and well furnished. We will definitely try to start where again in the future.

Paradise. Big easy for sure. You should definitely choose this spot. I use AirBnB often and this was my best experience yet. Craig and the rest of the crew were always around to help but never too close. We had a wonderful vacation and attribute much of it to this cozy spot and helpful staff on Mandeville. This place is fantastic! Exactly what we were hoping for and more! CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL & A+ STAFF! We walked everywhere while here and felt right at home! The hot tub and pool were perfect at the end of each day. The weather got nasty but the courtyard and pool area were still wonderful!!Michael responds to messages ASAP and was super helpful! We will stay here every time we come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spencer was a great host. He was very responsive in a timely manner and accommodating for our request. The house was very clean and already cooled when we got there. I definitely recommend this house to anyone

Beautiful home and property. Very short walking distance to everything Downtown Long Beach has to offer, just out of the higher traffic area. Perfect for local events, or even larger family trips/gatherings with the extra apartment units on the back of the property. Donna made sure the property was ready for everything we wanted to use it for, all the way down to the grill being cleaned and ready for steaks. They really have tried to think of everything putting this property together, all the way down to a tankless water heater so we were able to cycle 6 adults through showers without running out of hot water, and a combo washer/drier so you can throw clothes in either on the way out the door or when going to bed and they are ready to go when you come back to the machine. Our whole group will plan to stay here for anything we come to Long Beach for in the future.

Beautiful house and backyard just outside of New Orleans. Kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans for cooking. House design was gorgeous and there was a beautiful private backyard as well!

Beautifully decorated large old home with lots of room close to a lot of things to do like restaurants and shops. Would stay there again loved it.

We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

David was a great host with great communication. Would stay at David’s again and would recommend to others.

They are very sweet and friendly host. the pace was clean and neat had everything that was listed. they have some very good extra for this lil peace of Paradise.I will be back . thus picture don't tell the full story of this beautiful place.

Everything was perfect

This cabin wasn’t just a place to stay - it became our own slice of heaven, hidden from the world and steeped in wild beauty. We spent six unforgettable days wrapped in the arms of the forest, swimming and kayaking in the river, picnicking on white sandbanks along the shore, and soaking in the hot tub under the stars. At night, nature's orchestra came alive - crickets, cicadas, and bullfrogs in a powerful, primal chorus. We sat by the fire, totally immersed and in awe of it all. The cabin is rustic, simple, and soulful... not five-star hotel luxury, but something far deeper. Yes, there are bugs, and yes, you’ll get a few bites - but the magic makes it more than worth it. (Dab bites with alcohol and carry on!) Krista, our host, was amazing - present if needed, but respectful of our solitude. We grilled dinner, boiled shrimp over the fire, and got engaged here. This place will forever hold our hearts. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

Staying at David's property is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy time with family. Traveling from Brandon, Florida, to Bogalusa, Louisiana, is a big change, but it’s definitely worth it. The property is very family-friendly, with something for everyone—from toddlers to young adults—and plenty of room for adults to unwind, socialize, or even get some work done. I highly recommend David's place; both the staff and other guests are friendly, respectful, and helpful.
