Holiday houses in Lake Qualatchee

We were looking for an affordable place to stay a couple days for our anniversary. While the Llama house wasn’t the cheapest option, the beauty of the space and property made it our first choice! We were pleasantly surprised that every aspect of the property met or exceeded our expectations. I do wish we could’ve stayed a little longer but we did enjoy our time in Dahlonega. As for Bill, he was so responsive and helpful when we had questions. I was impressed with his thoughtfulness in the design and practicality of every last detail of this property. I hope to come back when it’s not so rainy and get to enjoy the fire-pit as well! 10/10 would stay agin and recommend the Llama house to friends!

Julie couldn’t have been more hospitable! She showed us around and made sure we knew how everything worked. There was even a surprise treat waiting for us to celebrate our anniversary. The house was simply stunning and perfect! It’s a must for anyone looking to relax and reconnect. We’re already booking our next stay.

My wife and I selected the area of Ellijay for our honeymoon specifically because of Ted’s AirBnB! We were amazed by the style, decor, and feel of it! Every morning felt fun, light, and spacious and every evening felt private and intimate. What a perfect balance that was everything we could have asked for! On top of that, Ted was such an incredible host. Very kind and generous! We cannot wait to return to this spot time and time again!

We loved our stay at killer view cabin! I celebrated my birthday here with a few close friends and we all did not want to leave. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was so comfortable and had everything we needed! We hope to come back as it was truly a special stay. Jennifer was such a responsive and kind host too! 10/10 recommend!

This place was so wonderful to walk in to after a long travel day! The screened in 3 season room was a perfect place to sit and listen to nature while drinking coffee/wine. Kelly was always available for questions. She had a book with every bit of information you would need for the house and surrounding area. Everything was spotless in the house. Comfortable furniture and bed! They had some toiletries in case you forgot some items. A few coffee pods and sugars/honey and creamers. Things are labeled and the kitchen was very well stocked. Such a lovely place! There’s a Publix right as you enter the area to stock up on groceries. Would love to come back here again. We loved staying in this area as we visited some wineries and took some beautiful hikes. The Anna Ruby’s Falls north of Helen were beautiful and it’s a national park. Bring your national park pass if you have one. Amicalola Falls was amazing to hike up to. The little square of Dahlonega was very quaint.

We came to Helen for the beautiful landscape and the balloon festival. Honestly, the hot air balloon festival was disappointing, but the cabin and the mountains made up for it. We saw the hot air balloons, played on the river, walked in the woods and in town, played at a city park, and lots of other things. We had four active children with us, ages 2, 5, 11, and 12. Everyone had a wonderful time. When we returned to cabin each day we were ready to relax. This cabin was perfect for still engaging the children with the hot tub and a firepit for s'mores. Then they were able to rest and hit the bed. The adults enjoyed being with the children, and then having our own quiet time. The views and the breezes were heavenly on the back porches of this cabin. The lights in the front made it very easy to find the cabin, especially since we arrived after sunset. The hosts had taken care of many details that made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. We will definitely come again.

This stay was from start to finish AMAZING. The host communication was on point so quick with any questions you could ever have. The space was immediately clean and taken care of and so many extras inside for anything you would ever need that you forgot. Nice large property with a nice lake and pedal boat for you to use would be a perfect property if you had a family that needed space to enjoy. I was a single visitor and lived the fire pit outside and had a nightly fire to wind down thank you for a wonderful stay

We had the best weekend staying in this little cabin. It had everything we needed, it was quiet, private, but close enough to everything to be able to enjoy downtown Dahlonega. Also Alissa was so kind and helpful. We even had an issue with the dish network and she fixed it within 15 minutes of me reaching out to her. We've also stayed in the Black Bear cabin up the road before which, from my understanding, is owned by part of the same family. All I know is we haven't had one disappointment and I can guarantee these will be the first accomodations we look at anytime we stay near Dahlonega.
