This is a house with a garden in a quiet village on the shore of Shoji-lake. There are two 10 tatami mat rooms, one with a floor space and one with a sunken kotatsu table. The garden facing the sunny veranda is a pure Japanese-style structure with stone lanterns, and you can enjoy the autumn leaves, hydrangeas, camellias, etc. in each season. You can see Shoji Lake beyond the garden. You can't see Mt. Fuji from the building, but it is a 10-minute walk to the scenic beach "Attehama" with a view of Mt. Fuji in front. It is also a great location as a base for various trekking courses such as Panorama-dai, Mikata-bunzan, and the Tokai Nature Trail.
