2024.08. OPEN Private Villa with a Sauna and a Panoramic View of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi

LiPenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow, and absolute amazing property with a stunning unobstructive view to Mt. Fuji. Ample amount of space for family or a few friends to hang out and experience the serenity of the area. The pictures do not do it any justice, you have to be there to experience this. In terms of the service - very communicative, supportive. I forgot a personal item and the host coordinated to have it quick ship to my next destination. Cleanliness - spotless, period. Everything is where it needs to be. Lastly, we want to thank the host for a wonderful family trip.

1,400 m2 private site/sauna, fire pit, BBQ, theater/mysa

It was beautiful with a sauna, and I enjoyed the large garden. The living room was also spacious, and we were able to spend private time together, so I was very satisfied. There are supermarkets and Seria about 20 minutes away by car, where you can buy various items such as sake, wine, local beer, snacks, and bento boxes. There is also a Lawson a 1-minute walk away Yamanakako has a full cycling course, and there is a bicycle rental shop 3 minutes away by car, so I enjoyed cycling. The temperature was around 10 degrees in late May, and it was a little cold during the rainy season, but after cycling, it was great to warm up in the sauna and bath. Unfortunately, the nearby hot spring facility was under construction and was closed for a few weeks. However, mysa's bath was spacious and the view was great. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Takashi-san’s home was absolutely gorgeous and fit our group of 4 wonderfully. He was extremely accommodating, bringing a van to both pick us up from the station upon our arrival and drop us off at the station upon our departure. He was always readily responsive to my questions and had recommendations at the ready when asked. The area was quiet and the locals were kind despite us being foreigners. There was a nice walking path by the river nearby from which Mt Fuji can be viewed when it’s not cloudy. The two bikes provided came in handy often. There was even a wonderful little laundromat within walking distance. In the end Takashi-san provided us each with gifts: his handmade petal jelly and hand folded origami of Mt Fuji. This was a fantastic stay with a gorgeous traditional house full of basic amenities and more. I will be dreaming of sleeping on the futon with fluffy pillows and a giant fluffy duvet by the open back door when I return to my own home. ❤️

It was a very relaxing place to stay, and all the guests were so excited that they thought it was more than 100 points out of 100. I strongly felt that I wanted to come again.

We had the pleasure of staying at a truly magical and peaceful place – an experience we won’t forget. The space was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and it was clear that every little detail had been thoughtfully considered to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The host provided outstanding service – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The view was absolutely breathtaking, both during the day and at night – a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy complete tranquility in a beautifully kept environment – this is the place for you.

The facilities and the response of the host were very good. Especially the old house with the fireplace, Dento Sauna, and the private waterfall were extraordinary, and it was very refreshing. I wanted to stay again. Thank you very much for your next opportunity.

A private rental accommodation where you can enjoy the extraordinary nature of "everyday life"

凜桜Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
I used it for 2 nights.I was happy that there were 2 toothbrushes for each person. All shampoos were Curel, and the hair dryer was a Solania. It seems that the check-in method was temporarily changed, but we had a polite explanation in advance, so there was no problem. It was a very nice place to stay.
