Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Superior

This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

We came up for a small celebratory getaway after a small wedding ceremony held at our home in St. Cloud area. We appreciated that it was very dog friendly and also so close to Duluth. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as it turned pretty cold, windy and rainy, but were still able to use the hot tub intermittently and especially enjoyed the fireplace inside. There are also have really cute string lights setup overhead. It is a very cozy space. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, anything that was unsatisfactory was really just down to the weather which was not anyone's fault! Thanks, Chantel.

This was our first time staying here. It was very private with a beautiful view and a peek of Shagawa Lake through the treetops on the front side of the cabin - the top to bottom windows making it easy to see the nighttime sky. It was beautiful! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable as well. The place was very clean. We would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely exceptional cabin in rural Wisconsin! The space was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel cozy and luxurious. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the hot tub and watching the beavers by the water—such a peaceful and unique experience. Highly recommend!

Place was perfect and private for our anniversary getaway trip. It was clean and well kept! Would stay again if we ever were in the area in the future.

We had an awesome time. Beautiful views everywhere. Perfect for us and our family with grandkids. Swimming, jacuzzi, boat dock, a.c. and comforts, kayaks and floats for kids was super nice!!! Loved the outside deck for grilling and eating and relaxing. This place is well equipped. Great job Chad and crew! Kitchen was so well stocked that we didn't need to bring half as much as we did for spices and kitchen amenities. We loved our time and was sad it was over so soon. Close to town made it really nice. Added awesomeness was that we also had great weather! Garage was really convenient to reload and pack our boat on last day when raining. Can't think of a thing we didn't love.

Great communication. Wonderful location for our anniversary getaway. Loved being so close to the lake while enjoying the Jacuzzi. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Would definitely return.

Craig and Marina always go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need. His property is so private and peaceful. Beautiful view of the lake and sunsets. This was our second year we stayed at one of two of his Units and it won't be our last. Look forward to returning.

We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was the perfect place to just unwind and reconnect. Cell service was spotty, Verizon, which is exactly what we wanted but with their Wifi we were never out of reach of our children. The caretaker Renee did a phenomenal job getting the cabin ready for our stay. Both her and Cory were right there if we needed anything or had any questions. It rained half the time we were there, it's Michigan lol, but that covered and screened in gazebo was like magic. The sauna was perfect, great size, easy to get going and we really enjoyed it. I get hot fast but being able to chat with my Husband while he's still enjoying and I was in the changing are was wonderful! If you are looking for peace, this is the place. We're life long Michiganders so we can travel to waterfalls and such pretty much anytime so we stayed in the whole week and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for the new memories we made. We cannot wait to go again with our dog 😁

Nice place with beautiful views of the lake. We were looking for a quiet place to unwind from work for a few days and this place fit our needs. Comfortable bed, easy to get to, and a large deck to sit out and enjoy the views. Would stay again!

It's always enjoyable having a host that communicates effectively; Kaity was one of those hosts. Her welcome note was thorough and provided all the information we needed for both check-in and check-out. The home is adorable. The massive windows in the main gathering space gave you the 'full north woods' feel. Kitchen is smallish but we certainly appreciated how well stocked it was with all the appropriate cooking utensils. Providing a drip coffee pot and pour over was a great touch; we used them both. Bed mattresses were awesome - nice and firm. We were there for the mountain biking and boy did we have fun on so many of the nearby trails. Bottom line: It's a nice place to getaway to.

It was a beautiful little place with lots of property for my kids to run around and play. Was able to find lots of rocks (along with a couple yooperlites)

This was the third year in a row my boyfriend and I have stayed at this gorgeous cabin, and each time it gets better and better! As always, Ian and Melanie were amazing hosts: providing a spotless cabin with an upgraded bathroom, and reached out proactively when needed. 100% a steal on the price to stay at this breathtaking cabin. It’s on a private lake with provided kayaks, a row boat, and paddle boat; as well as, wifi and A/C making it the perfect combination of modern amenities with the homey feel of a cabin on the lake. If you’re thinking about staying in or around Iron Mountain, definitely look into the Spring Lake Cabin- you won’t regret it!! We look forward to coming back next year :)

Tammie’s cabin was absolutely beautiful and everything we were looking for with our family getaway! The cabin was exceptionally clean with lots of provided necessities! Tammie made sure we had everything we would need for our stay upon arrival! The river and property was stunning and we greatly enjoyed watching all of the birds visit the feeders out back! We will definitely be staying here again!

My boyfriend, wiener dog, and I had the best time. We spent so much time together in the cabin which was so relaxing for us. It is in the perfect spot between Houghton and Marquette to see a lot of beautiful spots in the UP.

The Lilly Pad is a perfect place for a single person or couple to stay. It is cozy, has everything one would need, and is in a beautiful location. We loved hearing and seeing all of the birds and turtles, especially the morning and evening visits by a blue heron. The location is also close to Munising and all of the Pictured Rocks locations and activities. Highly recommend!

I'm not even sure where to begin with this amazing and great experience! Well to begin, I wanted to find a space with lots of natural light, decent amount of space, good views of nature, and to be able to rest, recharge, and renew myself. Some of what I enjoyed the most about the trip are as follows: - All the fresh air from the numerous windows. - The ability to relax and watch the clouds go by from such very large windows. - The AMAZINGLY stocked kitchen that helped me enjoy my times of cooking. - The record player and some of the cool records. - The giant bed that I lost myself in when reading a good book. - The giant beanbag chairs I'd sit in, with the fireplace on, while again, reading a good book. - The sauna and the shower; talk about relaxation. - The Tower study was just phenomenal! - And last but far from least, the amazing hosts that Andy and Molly were! They were so communicative and kind! I've NEVER had such amazing hosts!!! Phenomenal! 11/10 Highly recommend!!!

It was very peaceful, and exactly as described. The outdoor bath was amazing! I loved being so one-on-one with nature, yet completely existing in style! It's camping, only lazier, lol. Loved this stay, and will definitely be back!

Well worth the price! The location was gorgeous, beautiful lake and cabin. It had LTE service and occasionally 5G, my only complaint is that the WiFi connection didn’t reach from the main house to the fiddlehead cabin. BUT not a problem since we wanted to get off the grid and enjoy the time together. Hayward had plenty to do for the two days we were there, we went to community events like the flea and farmers market and had lots of fun! Restaurants in the area were nice and antique stores were great! Lots of smaller towns within 20-30 mins of Hayward with more stuff to do. Janie was a fantastic host! Incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly! She was working on the garden one morning and making small improvements to the cabin and grounds the entire time we were there. You can definitely tell the property is her baby. She even let me buy a bowl off of her because I had the same style in a smaller size at home! A hilarious reminder of the trip. Absolutely will be staying there again!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!
