Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Superior

If you are looking for a peaceful, private location with beautiful views in the UP, look no further! We loved our stay - the house had everything we needed and was in an absolutely beautiful location. We will be back!

The house was exactly as described and Jerri is a warm, flexible hostess, responsive to needs and questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the house very comfortable, the beds cozy and the location perfect for chasing waterfalls, collecting Yooper Lites, finding great coffee and walking distance from lovely trails. Recommendations were spot on for our needs and interests and instructions clear, reasonable and easy to follow. We loved the firepit in the back yard to end days of hiking and kayaking. Highly recommend!

I stayed here with family for a North Shore getaway. This place was gorgeous, spacious, private, and quiet! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and ample shared spaces for cooking, watching movies, and relaxing together. We loved the proximity to Grand Marais and all the great North Shore hiking spots. The pizza oven was a blast to try out and I used the provided telescope to look at the beautiful full moon. If you’re looking for a private spot with family or friends to enjoy views of Lake Superior, look no further! We can’t wait to come back.

Watching sunrises every morning and seeing wild life in our surroundings was amazing. We got to leave refreshed & feeling so much love. We hate to go but cannot wait until we are back!

We had a great time in this Marquette cabin! It was a great location for visiting restaurants and breweries in town and for doing local hikes. The home looked just like the photos and everything was clean and well-organized. We would stay again on a future trip to the UP!

Viewpoint was enchantingly perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Our children (6 and 2) were fascinated by the records and CDs, and we had dance parties every afternoon. The bedrooms and game room were perfect for them - table and chairs for coloring, board games and Twister, and a guitar for my husband to entertain them with. The outdoor table served as a perfect stage for their musical performances, and we all loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the porch. The grown ups loved the beautiful mug collection, proximity to Fika, easy access to Grand Marais, and the view. I have never felt more at peace than we did at the Virwpoint. The house was perfect. Beds were insanely comfortable and the house was clean. Beautiful views, set right next to our favorite state park. Will be back for sure, several times!

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

Very lovely space. Would like to return for a longer time to enjoy the space. Quick run to site see along Lake Superior so was not able to enjoy it to the full. The beds and pillows were so very comfortable. Everything you need in the house. Definitely would recommend staying here

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

Sweet little place to stay! It is as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views of Lake Superior.

This is our second time staying with Michelle and we definitely will continue to do so. The amenities are great, and Michelle provides everything you may need and then some. The space is very comfortable and the location is perfect! Walking distance to the lake, grocery store, restaurants, walking trails, and so many other sights.

Lovely cabin with gorgeous Lake Superior views from almost every place in the house. Our family enjoyed the comfy beds, thoughtful design, and the ability to stay connected to the lake even when back at the cabin during our Lake Superior adventure.

This was our first time staying here. It was very private with a beautiful view and a peek of Shagawa Lake through the treetops on the front side of the cabin - the top to bottom windows making it easy to see the nighttime sky. It was beautiful! It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The king size bed and linens were very comfortable as well. The place was very clean. We would absolutely stay again.

This is a beautiful place and very quiet. We loved sitting on the dock by the river and just listening to the wildlife. Plenty of room in the house and it was really well stocked with everything we could possibly need.

Wonderful place to stay with my family and dogs for the weekend. Large kitchen, comfortable beds, a fenced in yard plus a wood burning sauna. The views were beautiful from the deck too right by the lake. Great spot to relax and would definitely love to visit again.

We loved your little cabin. The area was beautiful and quiet without city distractions. We loved watching the birds and the deer each morning. We knew that there were other cabins on the property but didn’t realize just how close; however, after parking and unloading, we never needed to go out back so you would never know the other cabin is there. We loved how you have that set up. Thank you for sharing your space.
