The place is really accessible it's easy to reach from the airport. The place is quite the private. The owner is friendly and kind. Plus there are cats in the property which is nice. Only downside for me is the Wifi which is spotty.

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Julie and Menno's place is super clean and super accurate to the description. Amenities listed are amenities you get. Everything is there. Coffee pods, heater, massive TV with netflix. Near enough to town but not too close hence you get a bit of quiet and serenity. Instructions are very clear. The welcome snack is a cute little bonus! Very attentive hosts, and they're always quick to respond to comms as well. 11/10 - would totally stay here again!

Lavender House was a very positive experience, and had all the amenities, warmth, space needed for a great getaway. Our host Nigel was responsive and helpfully detailed about access, very willing to help with any inquiries. We'd love to visit again. We're trail runners and had some great fun exploring some of the lesser known trails; great to come back to a warm and welcoming location in a coldish winter. Much gratitude. Jogyata

Everything you need, want and more ! Peaceful and quiet. Everything was exactly as described. Very very well equipped. Far enough from Rotorua town to be peaceful and enjoy the environment, but close enough to enjoy the attractions.

What a beautiful home for a family getaway! It surpassed our expectations, and they were high. Sarah and Darren have thought of absolutely everything and it is all top quality and so comfortable. One of my aunties marvelled that her bed was so good, she woke up without the usual aches and pains. Located just up the road from the redwood forest and tree walk, and only a few minutes from town, yet private and quiet, it was a perfect escape. Now we want to stay again during summer to make the absolute most of the fabulous pool and outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

A great house close to the city and all amenities.  Serein was very helpful, especially when we left a watch behind and had to organise a pick up tiej for it.   Would recommend it to all.

Had a lovely stay here. House was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, nice sheets and towels. Great to be able to bring our dog with us, fully fenced garden was perfect. Lots of board games, books and things to keep us busy on the rainy days. Tanya was lovely and met us at the door, we were given a tour and all the info we needed, including a quick rundown on the local restaurants and shops. Location was very good, close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. We appreciated being able to put the car in the garage as well. Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

An exceptional place to stay and the hosts have put so much time and effort into lots of details around the property. Couldn't recommend it more - it was an absolute stand out in our trip around Aotearoa New Zealand!

Close to water, big and spacious. Well equipped for air BNB. our youngest loved the bunk bed room and the space invaders. We loved the games room. Only one usable pool cue though. Rotorua is cold this time of year so was grateful for a fireplace.
