Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lambton County

This is a great destination if you’re looking for a quiet, private getaway. Bonus if you have pets as our dogs loved the spacious backyard and that there were other pups they got to make friends with! Bobbi, the on-site caretaker, was available for questions and recommendations and very friendly. The walk down to the beach is well worth it, but if you don’t feel you can make it, the view from up top is great from multiple spots as well. Cassie and Mitch were excellent hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their well equipped and very comfortable home. It had everything we needed and was in a great location, close to town, restaurants and all amenities. We would definitely return to their lovely home and recommend to any one looking for a great place to stay in Sarnia

We rode our motorcycles from Ottawa to David's Brights Grove cottage and when we arrived, he had a nice cold one in the fridge for our arrival and fresh farm eggs (we didn't cook unfortunately). The cottage is sooo close to a beautiful blue water beach yet is far enough away, tucked in to the cutest and quietest little neighborhood you've ever seen. The cottage has a lovely, very private patio, all surrounded by plants and flowers and the trees keep it all wonderfully shaded. Also a nice outdoor fireplace and one indoors too. David stopped by on Sunday morning and told us to take our time checking out, chatted about the area with my partner (who grew up in that area 50/60 years ago), and took some pics of our motorcycles. What a fantastic person, we didn't meet Juli but hopefully in the future. Thank you David and Juli. We'll be spreading the word through the biker community to definitely check you out. Cheers. This was our first stay at the Stone Cottage and we were so pleasantly surprised. We were immediately welcomed into a quaint and charming old home in a peaceful neighbourhood. Truly a great getaway if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing space. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and full of character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. Communication with the Mary Ann was great making the entire experience stress free. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a restful retreat with charm and warmth.

Absolutely wonderful home and host! My family and I stayed at Tatyana's place this past Memorial Day weekend. The house exceeded our expectations! We had 11 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is one of the most stocked kitchens we have seen at an airbnb, the children's room was terrific for the kids, and the amount of bedrooms was perfect for our large family. It's obvious that alot of time and effort was put into this beautiful home, and all of the little extras provided did not go unnoticed. Tatyana was also a great communicator throughout the entire process, from making the reservation to when we checked out. We didn't get the weather we were hoping for but there was still plenty to do, both at the house and the surrounding area. We visited a couple of her suggestions and were not disappointed. Looking for beach glass at the local beaches was a hit with my family. Every person in our party enjoyed themselves so much that we all plan on coming back again!

Four of us drove in from Guelph to Sarnia for my daughter's Convocation Ceremony at Lambton College. We stayed 2 nights. Marie's home was a perfect choice with three large rooms and 1.5 bathrooms. It was very comfortable with lots of space for gathering, prepping meals and for individual privacy as needed. So much better than being stuck in a hotel room! Her home was only a short distance from the college so it was great place to relax before and after all the excitement of graduation. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again. So reasonably priced for what was included! Thanks Marie! (Oh, before I forget, just a note to anyone with scent sensitivities. Bed linens are washed using Gain detergents etc. Linens are very clean, but they are strongly scented. It was a personal problem for me, but not for anyone else in our group. Anyone with sensitivities/allergies should know....just in case. This is not a complaint towards Marie...but just alerting anyone with sensitivities/allergies)

We had a brief overnight stay with another family for an event in town. The house had all the amenities you'd need, I only wish we were there longer to take advantage of it all! The house itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated. My 5yo daughter even commented on how nice the bathroom was and that she wanted to stay and it be our house. We did have a few children with us and while the squeaks and creeks from the age of the house didn't seem to wake them, it did make me extra conscious about being noisy once they were in bed. My only piece of feedback is that the beds are quite firm and I would have preferred a foam mattress. But to each their own. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and felt that communication was great. The snacks were a great touch and definitely enjoyed when we got back from our event ;) Thanks for having us.

Only had the option of 5 stars but would have given it 10 if it was an option! She was very quick to answer any text messages I sent. There are 2 instructions for her place. We have stayed where there are too many. (So many I couldn’t relax. )The home is beautiful with many items in the kitchen not described in the description! ( foil, ziplock bags, Keurig machine and a coffee maker! The list goes on and on!) there is a mixture of old and new in her place. Beds and couches were VERY comfortable. Plenty of pillows to choose from and extra blankets were available too. I would not hesitate to stay here again! You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay away at this home away from home!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The venue and layout of the apartment itself was very nice with a lot of open windows for natural sunlight and it was extremely clean and comfortable to stay in. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed, which made things super convenient and homey. Dave was responsive, very accommodating and provided a very nice, clean stay. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay!

Marco was a great host and we loved the space. It was exactly what we were looking for and can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

My parents stayed here and really enjoyed it. The space was clean, peaceful, and had a very homey feel. They felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout their stay. Thank you for creating such a warm and welcoming environment, it meant a lot to us!

Beautiful place to rent for small group of people. The host was much responsive and co-operative. Gave us ample time before checking out unlike others who rush and don’t cooperate.

My hubby and I wanted to get away for a couple nights because it was our anniversary and this place did not disappoint. It was quiet, clean, close to a couple towns for shopping, close restaurants that were excellent service and delicious food as well as a river that was <5 minute walk that you could watch the sunset at. We would definitely go again. Hosts were great and very easy to contact.

Beautifully decorated apartment with great furnishings and a very comfortable bed with great pillows. However, no wardrobe or drawers in the bedroom. Person upstairs respectful and not noisy. There’s not a lot to do in the area but it is a lovely location opposite the water. We had an issue with Wi-Fi and the fire stick but Olivia came up immediately to check that it was still working. Despite coming to check Olivia did not introduce herself to us so we did not see her which felt impersonal. However, Olivia was very kind enough to amend our booking when our plans changed which was greatly appreciated.

This was such a nice, quaint town to spend a relaxing weekend, and Patricia's apartment was a perfect place right in the middle of it. It was so nice to always be just a few minutes away from anywhere in town. The apartment itself was pristine and had an amazing second-floor view of the main strip. My only reservation that you could hear people in the outside hallway moderately clearly, which make you think how much they can here you. With that said, I had no issues whatsoever and had a great time! I'd recommend Lola's Diner for having one of the kindest waitresses I've ever met, Jocelyn. I'd stay way from Actor's Casual Dining for the exact opposite reason. They were rude and tried to write in their own large tip.

This space is lovely, it is roomy and open, I like that the bathroom had its own heat control as well as the living room area and the bedroom. The bedroom is light and comfortable. I would recommend slippers the floors can be a little chilly! Overall we had a wonderful night in this space and hope to enjoy it again in the future.

Beautiful home as described. Close to everything. Safe and private. Great hosts who communicated in a timely manner. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this home.

Great location appreciated the underground parking, minutes walk to the beach located on the main strip! Overall, great accommodation would definitely book again for our next trip to Grand Bend!

Very nice place. Super convenient and easy walk for shopping or going out to eat.

The location was perfect. Right on the strip and easy walk to entertainment, the beach and restaurants. The condo was very nice and had all we needed for our weekend. The 2 little critique I would have is that the beds were not very comfortable and the unit beside us had nosier guests so I was woken up in the middle of the night. That’s not the hosts fault and obviously they have no control of what other guests do when they come. I was able to have them quiet down with just chatting with them about the noise and they quickly and quietly agreed with their apologies. I would most definitely recommend this location 100% and will definitely book again in the future.

It is not often you get to say this, but the photos for this rental do not do it justice. You walk in and the place looks like it belongs in House & Home Magazine. The furniture, art, carpet and linens are all top of the line and you can tell the hosts did not hold back in delivering a five star resort like vibe. Highly recommend for longer stays as the unit has all the comforts of home. Nothing worse than running to the store to get things like cookware, can openers etc… if had an air fryer to reheat leftovers. All you need is your suitcase and toothbrush.

Really enjoyed the stay at Grand Bend. The location is very close to beach. The building is brand new, secure and well maintained. The rooftop patio with barbeque could be a good place to watch the sunset. The unit where we stayed was super clean and had all the amenities. A complementary, no hustle parking is just steps away. Grand Bend is a very nice community with miles of pristine sand beach. The hosts were great!

sean and team were really nice and were amazing hosts! they upgraded us to a room with a lake view with no extra costs and it was so nice, loved seeing the frozen lake in the mornings during our stay! will most likely come back to stay here in the summer with friends.

Me and my friends had an amazing stay at kendra’s place. It was the perfect location that gave us a short walk to the beach and great instructions how to get into our place and start our stay.
