The peaceful waterfront was ideal for relaxing, and the thoughtful touches from Parker made it feel extra special. We loved every minute and truly did not want to leave, can’t wait to come back. We appreciated the beautiful space and especially the coffee pods provided ;) The support of a local gallery is a wonderful touch and we liked the paintings on display. The house looked more like a new build; it was so beautifully appointed. It was a great gathering space to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday! Thanks Zachary!

Perfect Spot for a Girls’ Getaway! Four of us girlfriends stayed here for a weekend and had the most wonderful time! The space was bright, spacious, and beautifully decorated—exactly like the photos. We loved hanging out in the cozy living area, sipping coffee on the balcony with lake views, and having our own comfortable rooms to unwind. The location was ideal—peaceful, yet close cute local cafes and shops in the neighborhood. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and felt super safe and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend for a girls’ trip or a relaxing escape from Toronto!

Beautiful space and great location for our crew that was working in Kemptville. Easy to find and get back and forth. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place in the area.

If anyone is looking for the perfect getaway spot with family and friends, this lovely river retreat has it all!! Gorgeous property, loads of space for guests to gather together or all have their own little small magical experiences. This home has everything that could be asked for. Location was easy to find and access, yet felt fully private and removed from the rest of the world. This place is set up for entertaining and relaxing, I was impressed from the moment we opened the door. The house is spacious, airy, and incredibly comfortable. Everyone felt right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, whatever you can think of was there, and the bedding and furniture were so fresh and comfortable. Extras everywhere! Our hostess Julie was amazing to communicate with. From our very detailed access instructions, to responding quickly to any questions, she made this weekend a phenomenal one. Julie has created a riverside oasis for any group big or small, and we would happily come back!

Wow!!! Stunning place! This host has gone above and beyond to make everyone feel so welcome and at home. The cottage is so well designed and there is so much thought and effort gone into designing g the cottage. Pictures don’t really showcase how beautiful this place is. Shallow and clear water. We will be back for sure.

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Our stay was truly incredible, best Airbnb we’ve ever been too. There was so much to do around the home with all of the available amenities. It’s very cozy, we felt right at home. The home is super close to local restaurants and grocery stores. It was quite the experience. Scott is an amazing host, we highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making our first trip to Canada a very memorable experience. We hope to visit and stay again sometime in the future.

We enjoyed our stay, exactly what we wanted. Quiet, comfortable, enjoyed reading, relaxing and watching a couple movies. Walking distance to the town and all the great food. Thanks for a great weekend.

Nice and peaceful, great stay

Dr. Brown was responsive and helpful from the minute I booked our stay. We were able to be together as a family, play pool and other activities with the home as well as get around to surrounding areas easily. It was quiet and nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we were very thankful for that.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming and cozy home! The house is quaint, clean, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The bedding was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well! The host went above and beyond with personal touches, leaving us snacks, coffee, and condiments, which was so appreciated. We brought our dog along, and the fully fenced backyard was perfect — safe, spacious, and such a great bonus for pet owners. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, a warm and welcoming stay that we’d happily return to!

Sooo beautiful! This modern and cosy cottage has everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, very comfy beds, lots of sitting areas and access to the water toys. The fishing was great also.

We stayed for a quick weekend getaway to get some R&R. Joe's place was just what we needed. Everything we needed and nothing we didn't. The cabin is tiny, as advertised, but we travel light so it was no problem for us. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy, and Sharbot Lake is a quick 10 min down the highway. The outdoor shower at the site is THE BEST - nature at your back and hot water on demand. The composting toilet was a little daunting at first, but Joe provides super clear instructions and it turned out to be the best campsite bathroom of all time. We'll be going back next time we need a break from traffic and skyscrapers.

Great place to stay, the cabin is cozy and clean, we can still smell the pine wood that is the building material of the cabin. We came on the thanksgiving long weekend, this year it was very cold, fortunately we brought our winter jackets and sleeping bags. The host is very nice, you can ask for more comforts if you don’t have your own, otherwise it is too cold to sleep. We didn’t bring drinking water, but a general store is 3 minutes driving away. The fall scene was spectacular, the lake is peaceful, the host and her son were friendly and responsive. We may come again in summer when it is warmer.

Overall great stay! Waterfront is pretty weedy but they can be avoided by paddling out a bit to swim. Host was very responsive and everything was as described.

Chris’s place is a nice modern space. Unfortunately during my stay the ac unit broke, but this offered Chris an opportunity to prove what a fair and conscientious host he is. Chris went above and beyond to get technicians there to fix the issue. Once it was determined that they would need a few more days, I couldn’t tolerate the 30 degree temperature, and Chris gave me a generous refund. You can’t ask for more than someone who acts with integrity and collaboratively in a predictable/undesirable situation. Thanks Chris

What a perfect spot to stay in a gorgeous town! Excellent with so much to do, and eat! Ronda was very helpful with recommendations and the apartment was adorable and beautifully decorated with everything you need stocked. My fiancé and I felt right at home. 10/10 Highly recommend!

apparently loved staying in calabogie with the family at the studio, angel was absolutely amazing was so friendly and welcoming to our entire family. kids loved everything from fishing to sleeping in the cool loft bed they now want to move up to calabogie. thank you so much angel for everything. and we'll see you again :)
