The property is split up over three floors, with a bespoke kitchen diner on the ground floor, an open plan living room with window seats, a log burner and a modern tv for relaxing, then the top floor provides the bedroom with large en-suite style bathroom that’s quirkily decorated to offer a truly unique stay.

You'll stay in a small prize-winning canal-side housing estate, with piazza-style layout and private car parking round the perimeter. On the edge of the town centre, restaurants, wine bars, shopping centre, supermarkets are all within a 5-10 minute walk; together with museums, theatres, cinemas, castle, quayside, riverside footpaths and cycleways etc. Historic Williamson Park with the magnificent Ashton Memorial is also within walking distance. Kendal and the Lakes is 30 minutes drive away.

Morecambe; Cellar on Hornby
Please read entire listing before booking. If you want to be right in the heart of Morecambe but eventually want to retreat for peace and quiet, then this cosy cellar is for you. Located down a very bumpy track, it’s a 2 min walk straight to the prom and beach and a flat easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the town where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs, a cinema, a bowling alley and the legendary Winter Gardens venue. A 10 minute drive and you're on the M6, it couldn't be easier

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. Able to accommodate 3 guests (3rd guest with an additional charge) with a unique 'reading nook' which can be made into a small single bed for a young child. Babies up to 2 years old are welcome (free of charge) with a travel cot and high chair supplied. Alternatively, a sofa bed can be made available.

In the summer you can enjoy dining al fresco on both terraces, designed to catch the sun all day.

It is a popular starting point for walkers visiting the Victoria caves, Malham , 3 peaks , settle loop, 3 different waterfalls and wild swimming spots are all near by. There is a private garden area with views of the village green.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Aughton is a scenic village situated on the banks of the lune valley leading up to the market Town on Kirby Lonsdale. Walks from the village allow you to saunter along the banks of the river lune or through the picturesque Burton and Lawson woods belonging to the woodlands trust often known as Aughton woods. Aughton also has an beautiful old village church going back to 1864 and a recreation hall and children's play area.

Up to two dogs are welcome with the canal tow path 3 minutes away. To the rear is a small fenced yard with seating. This home is not suitable for parties.
