Root River Inn, Whalan En Suite

This room, named after the smallest town on the Root River Trail, is our smallest room. Perfect if you just plan to sleep here an be out enjoying the day. There is a bench and a stool in the room. This room has a window overlooking main street. You can see the bike trail and the bridge from your room. Recline in your queen bed and watch the Roku TV where you can watch many free channels or log into your own services. This room has the sink in the room and toilet and shower in the bathroom.

Room 6 Sportsmen Motel

Located in scenic northeast Iowa surrounded by rivers, forests, and thousands of acres of public land access. Area is very popular for hunting, fishing, trout fishing, kayaking, hiking, sightseeing, and many other activities. This motel room is remodeled and just what you need for a comfortable getaway on your vacation. Room is equipped with one queen bed, smart tv, WiFi, shower amenities, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge and this room has the ability for contactless/self check in.

The Tritsch House Walser Room

Enjoy a private room in this fully remodeled 1902 Queen Anne. The Walser Room has a private bathroom with shower, as well as a Jacuzzi tub. Guests have access to all of the main level common areas including the parlor, living and dining rooms, and any one of the three porches. Two of these porches have Mississippi River views. Guests also love hanging out in the newly remodeled kitchen. Sorry, but microwave only cooking. This is not a bed and breakfast and breakfast is not provided.

Stay in a comfortable room with a full private bath in Thee Historic Wenzil Taylor Building. Starting off in April Wenzil Taylor Food & Brew will be open! Enjoy unbelievable ambience with two limestone tunnels, with booth seating, and a very unique basement pub. The main floor has chandeliers from New York and a bar from Ireland and was the original hotel lobby. This building is on the national historic registry and was built in an 1871. You won’t find anything like it anywhere else!

Laura Ingalls and Rose Wilder Room

Built by Norwegian immigrants in 1910, this home's architecture provides ample space for gathering with family and friends and finding some quiet time. The home is located in the historic district of Decorah, near the Winneshiek County Courthouse and two blocks from downtown.
