The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues, downhill with a lift and Schmiedefeld) can easily be reached in 20-30 minutes by car and also by public transport.

The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

The guest apartment is located directly on campus, yet close to nature. If you have problems with pets, insects or feathered friends, you should not read any further.
