Arnold and Tom were great -- I was ill for much of my stay (not what hosts want!), and they actually offered to prepare meals for me! The overall space was, as the hosts indicated, a bit cold, though that was alleviated by the provided electric space heater. For me, the only downside was that the kitchen area did not have a sink, which I missed. There was an excellent washer/dryer, which was occasionally (and not at all intrusively) shared with the hosts. Good bathroom and shower.

I had a wonderful stay at Clever Lodge in Silver Spring. The pictures are current and accurate. The location is in a peaceful established neighborhood with lovely yards and homes. Donna was very responsive, and we connected easily through Airbnb messages. There was plenty of space to set-up a work area in a second room off the hallway and easy storage for cloths and luggage in the bedroom. The WiFi was reliable and I never noticed any bandwidth issues while working or streaming movies. Donna also knows the area well if you are looking for information or recommendations.
