Rosa and her husband are the gorgeous hosts. The place is a wonder: the house and its location are perfect for those of us who are looking for tranquility and to disconnect. I have already chosen the Llosa de Fombona two years in a row for my vacation.. I will definitely be back!

The apartment is very spacious, with very comfortable beds and a cute fireplace to sit and watch the fire. The area is beautiful and quiet. It would be nice if the grill was covered, because unfortunately we were hit by rainy days and we couldn't use it. This would not be an issue in itself, but please note that the house does not have an oven, so only the hob with two cooking burners remains. Finally, for the more friolentos of the group the house can be something fresh.

We couldn't have been more comfortable, the accommodation met all our needs and those of our dog. Faustino is very kind and attentive. The cottage is in a very quiet village and a lot of tourism and activities half an hour's drive away (if you want to leave the house, because you don't even want to leave the pool and garden).

We went for a weekend, and choosing this place couldn't have been more successful! I think the house is perfect, both in terms of aesthetics and performance. Nacho and Patricia's treatment and welcome are spectacular! Adapting to our schedules and caring, even when we gave 10 minutes' notice before we wanted to eat something from their bar! I'll definitely be back 😊

It was a pleasure staying at Marga's house! Ella and Miguel was super friendly and helpful. The house is very well located, there are many green areas around and the cities are also quite close. The house itself is very cozy and the truth is that the garden and terrace are perfect for disconnecting without leaving the house.

The house was spotless, very clean and with a delicious aroma. The owner was super friendly and close, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A perfect place to rest and disconnect. I would repeat without hesitation!

Noelia is a fantastic host. The refrigerator wasn’t working when we arrived. She immediately arranged a brand new one the following day, meanwhile she arranged for us to put our stuff in the fridge next door. The location was perfect for surfing, Ribadisella and Vega beach close by. Also mountain walking in Picos at your doorstep. The house has a perfect lay-out. Cosy and warm with enough wood for the fire place. The only ‘small’ drawback was the many smelly sticks with (in my opinion) horrible stink throughout the house. But we immediately put those outside. Thanks Noelia. Hopefully we’ll be back sometime.

Property ideal for our large, multi-generational, hyper-active in and out, noisy family party. Proximity other side of wall of active cattle-shed and nearby goats enhanced the holiday experience, and farmer happily showed inside to those who wished. Kitchen and dining-room well equipped for simple breakfast and supper feeding. Wi-fi strength good for normal family and internet use. Plenty of hot water. Play and BBQ area and equipment much enjoyed by young children. Most windows have fly screen cover, so flies and farmyard whiffs not a serious problem for us. Easy car access to local beaches, entertainments, and airport.

Everything's perfect to disconnect completely

It's the perfect place to disconnect with friends for a few days. The house is in perfect condition, and very well equipped. A very peaceful place and well located for sightseeing, although access is complicated. Eulalia has been very attentive from the first moment and helped us get to the house the first day so that we didn't get so complicated to arrive. The house is ideal and the attention is a 10. Wonderful views.

Amazing stunning location! So sweet. Yes, it’s a journey to get there, but it’s worth it. And the sweet villagers makes the whole experience even more special. Stunning views, perfect detox retreat!

Would definitely like to stay there again - it’s a beautiful area with stunning views, and the accommodation fits in perfectly - as well we being maintained to a very high standard. The wood burner was an extra bonus - which made it the perfect break for us

As a retired British couple, staying for 6 nights we found this place very pleasant, comfortable and well laid out. It is well off the usual tourist route I think, and so to a British person, it is very 'Spanish' which we liked. The coast and a great local beach are within walking distance of the place but it is set in green fields all around so is peaceful. It is also well placed for visiting the various museums, Botanical Gardens and city attractions in Gijon and around. We had a great stay.

The house is surrounded by mountains! Which just makes the place feel so magical. It was beautiful would recommend 100%

We were looking for a little house to stay for a few days in Asturias with our babies and it has indeed been the best choice of all. First of all, I would like to highlight the kindness and attention of Joaquín and Beatriz, always aware of the smallest detail. They left everything ready, taking into account the children, the impeccable cleanliness, the incredible views and we had the opportunity to meet the neighbors, wonderful people who have always welcomed us with a smile. It has been an unforgettable vacation and part of it has been thanks to this home that we will always remember with affection. We left very happy and eager to return!

Balbi's house is wonderful......it has everything you need for a perfect stay. Balbi has been a kind, attentive and available host at all times for anything you might need. Very attentive, everything was very correct, the area is very nice and with all the amenities. Highly recommended for a rural getaway and to disconnect. Total flexibility for the check-in and Enrique is a very good person, he tried to make everything go as well as possible and that is to be thanked.

this was a little oasis of calm and peace. we used the garden a lot for relaxing in, and loved listening to the birds singing there

The casita is a monad, surrounded by nature. We have enjoyed a lot with family and with a lot of tranquility, surrounded by nature. Irene and her husband are very friendly at all times and very attentive. We'll definitely repeat!
