Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

It features a small private pool (3m x 4m, available from June to the end of August) and a Jacuzzi (available from May to the end of October, depending on weather conditions). You are just a 5-minute walk from the water’s edge (Dordogne) where you can enjoy the beach, stroll, admire the Château de Val, go hiking, or visit beautiful villages in Corrèze and Cantal... You will be in Lanobre in the heart of the Auvergne countryside, right next to the Bort les Orgues dam, where you can find the famous Château de Val, as well as water and walking activities.

Old low-ceilinged house, typical of the Limousin farmhouse. Comfortably restored, it has a bedroom with a double bed (+ a mattress on the floor on request), a living room (convertible sofa) with kitchenette and wood stove, separate toilet, bathroom with enameled bathtub and is extended by a veranda. The house is located in a small quiet village, surrounded by animals (horses, donkeys) 4 km from the A23 Bordeaux-Lyon exit and 65 km from the Mont Dore ski slopes.

Le hameau et le vallon sont très calmes, la route a très peu de passage. Idéal pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants, ou pour 4 adultes. Possible jusqu'à 5 personnes.
