Gorgeous views, awesome location. Can walk to cafes and restaurants. Top notch food around. We had debated Urubamba vs Ollantaytambo but so happy we picked Urubamba. Ollantay gets PACKED with tourists - it’s overwhelming. Urubamba felt live a super lovely local place. And a quick drive to all major sites in the area. Our host helped us organize taxis, and tours. We horse backed to the salt mines and it was way more fun then taking a taxi or bus.

This place is heaven! We wished we lived there!! This has been our favourite place we stayed in the whole 6 months of travelling. The hosts had great recommendations for local markets, shops and were always responsive. We especially loved having the fire place, hot shower, garden to sit in and bed with views of the mountains. It has a very peaceful and cottage vibe to it, the perfect place for us to relax after doing the Machu Picchu hike. We didn’t end up doing much in the area, because we didn’t want to leave the air b and b! If you’re going to be visiting Urubamba or the Sacred Valley, this is such a beautiful place to stay!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Calca, look no further! This is a great apartment located in the heart of town, close to the central plazas. The kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms are all very nice, clean, well furnished and comfortable and the views of the mountains are beautiful. But above all else, the best reason to book this home is because JuanMa is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond to make your stay in Calca a great one. He is very responsive and helped me with everything I needed. He gave me good suggestions for restaurants and activities in and near town. He helped me find a place to eat when restaurants closed early on Labor Day. He helped me with my laundry. AND he was even kind enough to bring me soup and medicine when I got sick with the flu!!! What a stunning hidden place in the sacred valley, in the beautiful village Arin. I felt at home from the first moment. The house is very beautiful and cosy designed, with a terrace and balcony and an incredible view to the mountains. It is super peaceful quiet to sleep at night. Thank you so much for your hospitality to share your beautiful home and garden to travelers like me from all over the world. :)
