Our Hacienda sits on 40 Acres of land that was once one of the areas original Coffee plantations. Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Our place offers something for everyone..a perfect place to enjoy and make Memories!

Casa el Guarumo

Casa El Guarumo sits at the top of our 4-acre permaculture farm, situated between Parque Internacional La Amistad and the town of San Vito, Coto Brus. Come to reset and unwind. Take in the beautiful mountain views, clean air, and pure water. Enjoy fresh fruit, coffee, and handcrafted chocolate from the farm. Adventure to nearby waterfalls and hot springs, hike the farm trails to the creek, or drift off in a hammock to the songs of the myriad of bird species that can be observed in our area.

A strategic location just 350 meters from the Interamericana Sur highway, at the junction that goes to Golfito and/or Paso Canoas, safe and close to supermarkets, restaurants, health center, gas station and in front of a paved street. Modern and spacious design. Plenty of room to store all your purchases and ample parking for large vehicles or up to 3 light vehicles. We are just 500 meters from COSEVI where the driving tests are carried out to obtain a license.

You can also learn more about the coffee culture.

Enchanting, quiet site with only 3 cabins for rent. A few steps from your cabins you will discover a huge wild beach where swimming is pleasant. Close to all amenities (restaurants/grocery stores/bars). 3 bikes are at your disposal. Cleaning is done regularly and free of charge. Possibility of planning activities such as deep sea fishing, horse riding, visiting the river and its wildlife, etc.

La Casita Feliz

Charming private Casita with great birdwatching right from your bedroom window! Nicely equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare and serve meals. The Casita is a accessible enhanced space. No steps and there are grab bars in the bathroom. Outdoor kitchen available for your use as well on the attached covered Rancho. And a heated pool with swim tether.

Guayacán Cabin

Cozy cabins that will make your stay in Paso Canoas pleasant. Excellent for shopping as they are 2km from the Paso Canoas free zone, in front of the Inter-American highway. Pet-friendly, we have some dogs. If you visit us with pets, you must pay at check-in $20 / ¢10,000 for the first night of the pets' stay and $10 / ¢5000 for each extra night.
