Beachfront holiday rental in Las Peñitas

What made our stay at Gabriela's place was the outdoor space, which was furnished incredibly, comfortable, clean and cool pool, and we spent most of our time there. The views could not be better, the surf was right there for us. We ate out for our meals, so we didn't use the kitchen. The absolutely BEST part of this trip for us was Ray, Angela, Sasha, and their furry pets Max & Gerry. They took such incredible care of us, and they immediately felt like family. We were sad to part ways with them. Keep note that this property is on the far north end of El Transito, so if you are wanting to surf main break, it is about a 10 minute walk each way.

Muy buen lugar, ya conocía la playa que goza de excelente paisaje y tiene poca afluencia de personas, por lo que es ideal para tener privacidad, poder dormir ahi cerca de forma tan confortable es sentirse muy bien. La atención super buena.

Die Lage ist fantastisch und der Pazifik sehr beeindruckend. Donaldo war auch anwesend und hat uns ein paar Super-Tipps für Vulkanbesichtigungen gegeben. Der Ort ist touristisch noch ein unentdecktes Juwel und trotzdem fanden wir gute Restaurants mit außergewöhnlich freundlichen Menschen. Wir warten zwar nicht surfen, der Ort ist aber gerade für Surfer ein genialer Spot.

Dana's place is right on the beach, and a lovely spot to enjoy the Pacific ocean! Her family is amazing - Mario, Lucy, Angie and the boys are the most amazing family. They truly were there for any little thing anyone might need, and they sincerely wanted to make my stay amazing. The house is literally three doors down from a great restaurant with some of the coldest beers in Nicaragua. There are two lovely hammocks, and two private bedrooms. One private bath with hot water and the best of all - an outdoor shower. I can't say enough about how wonderful this family is! Unfortunately I had to leave early - and they were all there to see me off. They are absolutely incredible! I can't wait to return. Such a special beach appartement ! Host is so friendly and is the best surf coach you can find. Super professional and made us feel comfortable for our first time surfing. The appartement is perfectly located right on the beach and the balcony with hammock is perfect to watch an amazing sunset. Felt right at home. 🫶🏼

My husband, our friends and our kids stayed at Jared and Jenn's for 3 days. The property is amazing, with a path right from the back door to the beach and beautiful tide pools up and down the beach that are great for kids, it was much safer than other open ocean areas. It was very clean when we checked in, Fran is amazing and so kind. Emir was great and found fresh fish for us in the village each day. Wifi was good and air conditioners were well maintained and cold.You will need a high clearance vehicle like a truck or SUV to get back to the house, it's an undeveloped road but it wasn't any issue with our truck and it's only 1km. You walk from the house along the beach to the center of El Transito in about 30-40 minutes. After being in El Transito one night, I see why the road is like that, it keeps the beach where the house is super clean, quiet, and uncrowded. You can't hear the music from town, just waves and birds during the day. We'll be back, such a special spot!!

Very cool and private resort stay! Our tiny home had a beautiful view of the ocean and was a 30 second walk to the beach. The home itself had everything we needed for a short stay, including personal touches that made it feel comfortable and relaxed. We were able to cook meals at the home or take a short drive to 2 nearby restaurants, swim in the extremely private ocean or a choice of numerous pools, then relax at home in the powerful AC as needed. Our hosts were so helpful - friendly on arrival and quick to respond to any questions throughout our stay. Always neat to see how fellow Canadians are living abroad! Would recommend the stay for those looking for a peaceful escape from the major cities. The resort is currently not at high occupancy and is very quiet due to this. A nice reprieve. Thank you to Sandee and co-hosts for the hospitality!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the beach of this amazing place. The caretakers were amazing and really looked after us and helped us with anything we needed. The rooms were clean and beautiful and everything was perfect. We are very grateful and highly recommend Casa Miramar .

Todo muy bien! Apartamento en un 3er piso con vista al mar, fue hermoso. Limpio, organizado, cómodo con una terraza pequeña y linda para pasar el rato si no querías estar en el restaurante o piscina. 10/10

Nos alojamos yo y mi familia por 1 noche ya que buscábamos relajarnos, y no nos decepcionamos. La playa súper agradable y enfrente de la casa, se hacían piscinas naturales por las rocas, la casa súper bien acomodada y la cuidadora súper atenta. Nos fascinó a mi y a mis hijos, definitivamente recomiendo y volveremos definitivamente en nuestras vacaciones.

Lugar muy bonito, muy cómodo y tranquilo para estar en familia. La casa cumplió mis expectativas . Super recomendado !!!

We had a great time in Gran Pacifica. I think the host should be a super host. We really felt like home. The unit is very spacious. Much-needed space if you have kids. The resort amenities are also great. We will definitely schedule another stay soon.

Casa Tortuga at Los Cardones Surf Camp is an absolute gem! The journey to the camp may be a bit challenging—down rural roads and off the beaten path—but the reward is unparalleled. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a tranquil paradise surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The accommodations at Casa Tortuga are charming and thoughtfully designed, with a rustic elegance that perfectly complements the beachfront setting. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to a breathtaking sunrise was magical. The surf here is world-class, with uncrowded waves suitable for all skill levels. Beyond surfing, the eco-friendly ethos of the camp, the delicious locally-sourced meals, and the opportunity to truly disconnect made this a rejuvenating retreat. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, Casa Tortuga is well worth the journey!

Wow! gran casa y la atención de don Nelson fue maravillosa. Recomendaria en remodelaciones futuras poner techo en la piscina por el sol y adquirir un freezer. la refrigeradora es muy pequeña para familias grandes y conseguir hielo en el pueblo es un poco dificil. pero pasamos 4 días maravillos y Jennelle fue muy buena anfritriona. esperamos volver!

Les recomiendo esta casa, veai las olas desde la cama, muy encantador, la playa esta a unos pasos se puede bañar, claro con precaución. Si llevan niños no se preocupen, a mano izquierda caminan a unos metros y se hacen unas posas lindas, y si caminan un poco más, encontrarán un lugar tranquilo para bañarse en la playa toda tranquila. La casa tiene todo lo necesario, equipada. María Rosa muy amable y pendiente.

My partner and I came to stay at this house for the weekend. When we arrived we were really grateful to hear that they had surprised us with staying in the main house because there were no guests there for the weekend. It was incredibly kind for them to upgrade us :-) both houses are adorable. Of course the main house has two bedrooms and the casita is located behind the main house and is a small, well crafted studio space. The property is gorgeous and very safe. It’s fenced in and there is a gate separating the property from the beach. The space is absolutely stunning with the lookout area and lots of outside sitting space. The beach is absolutely stunning and very quiet. Perfect for a peaceful and serene getaway. 10/10, absolutely recommend.

House is in a great location , it had all the necessities and amenities. Leon was a 20 minute drive to go out and eat and go out at night.

Une plage déserte, comme si vous aviez un endroit au monde rien que pour vous. On ressent vraiment la détente. Le bungalow est très propre. Hôte sociable et sympathique. Pour ceux qui ont besoin d'être en contact avec la nature et la mer sans aucun bruit autour, je le recommande.

Casa Kailani es un oasis moderno y acogedor con múltiples espacios para relajarte y compartir. Ofrece una atmósfera única y especial, perfecta para escapadas en familia, con amigos, o en pareja. La playa cercana es muy linda, especialmente al atardecer, convirtiéndose en el escenario ideal para practicar yoga o ejercitarte al aire libre. ¡Altamente recomendado!

This stay was incredibly wonderful. We were assisted in getting transportation. The man picking us up at the top of the dirt road even spoke on speaker phone to our non English speaking taxi to translate for us. He arranged that the driver help us to the supermarket. We arrived very late and they were right there waiting to let us in our hut. The hut was so amazing, rustic, outdoor, right on the water with breathtaking view and sound to wake and aleep to. And last but never least, The staff! Heidi and her family that took care of our things and cook for us welcomed us and made me feel at home. This would not have been as nice a stay without the experience from her and familia! Thank you!!
