Easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The spacious living room and kitchen are connected, and the light falls in from two sides. Life in the city and in the square can be followed from the windows of the living room. If you light up the wood-burning stove in the evening, there is max. hygge. The two bedrooms are also spacious, and accessed from the distribution hallway. From here it is also access to the bathroom. The hallway is separated by a 'New Yorker' glass wall with a sliding door. The backyard is cozy and shared with the others in the property.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our 1870s property, and was originally an old stable that we have lovingly refurbished over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. Here is high to heaven, and if you want, our dog, Aggie, will be very happy to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and roosters are also very curious. We're excited to accommodate you 🤗

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

Ideal for Mountainbike weekend. Access to bicycle wash, storage and heated workshop. Direct bike path to Silkeborg city center. It is possible to rent a canoe and depart directly from the property. Lovely apartment in rural surroundings, located in the sea highlands, right between Aarhus and Silkeborg. From the apartment there are great views to the south and west. There is the possibility of using our fireplace, wood is included. It has its own terrace with morning sun. We have a huge herb garden , so during the season it's possible to have fresh vegetables. The farm has horses, cows, chickens, and turkeys.
