Quiet and cozy! Perfect for a night away. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay was great!! My one note is that the stairs are dangerous/a hazard. There is no railing and there’s a gap at the top that is very easy to fall down.

We loved our stay at the log cabin! It was very nice and comfortable. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine along with a nice little note. The cabin had everything we needed for our little weekend getaway. I messaged Laura twice and she replied almost immediately. Hot tub was amazing and seeing chickens and cows around the property was so cool! Would definitely recommend staying here!

What a wonderful cabin! We had a great time staying at this A frame. It had all the necessities without clutter. The deck was great and has a perfect view of the sunset. We appreciated the efficient use of space and the outdoor shower was fantastic after trips to the river. The hosts were very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended for couples.

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and quiet. Its just a short drive to great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.

It was so beautiful. We had absolutely no problems with anything, its very private and the hot tub works very well. The bed is SO comfortable, and the AC above the bed works very well. The TV has this really cool portrait mode on it that makes it look like a photo framed on a wall. And you really cannot beat the view. Thank you guys so much! We will absolutely be back.

Words can't describe this stay. Bring right on the river, kayaking, swimming, the sheep/donkey/goats and the fire pit were just what we needed to unwind and detach from city life. Incredible stay, and we will definitely be back.

I had a great time spending a nice, peaceful, and relaxing weekend away at this cabin. The view was great! We really just wanted to take some time for R&R, so next time I plan to enjoy more of the parks nearby! Thank you Shannon for being such a great host!

We had a great time and the rain didnt stop us from swimming and enjoying the hot tub! this place is very unique and worth the drive. The town is small and the closest walmart is about 30 min away if you need Walmart but there are places to eat in town and a dollar store. The animals are very cool!

An Unforgettable Stay with Breathtaking Views Casa Zen offers one of the most stunning views we’ve experienced — sunrise and sunset from the room are simply magical. The space is well maintained and peaceful, and while it can get a bit chilly at night, it only adds to the cozy mountain atmosphere. Important to note: getting to the room is a bit of a trek. The path involves walking past a tub area, climbing stairs, and navigating a few turns that aren’t clearly marked in the listing. It’s definitely worth it once you arrive, but guests should be prepared — and pack light! Thankfully, there’s a wonderful tuk-tuk driver who works closely with the hosts. He helped us with everything from carrying luggage to delivering food and organizing transport. A true lifesaver and a key part of the experience. San Marcos is a small, quiet village with a strong focus on vegan and vegetarian food. We explored all the surrounding towns, and we found Aman Hotel they make the rest of the trip word it ..

The cabin by the bayou was beautiful! The local artist artwork on the walls really gave the cabin a true Cajun feel. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. The beautiful live oak trees and large yard really made the surroundings peaceful.

The home was great as were the hosts. The kitchen was stocked well with supplies and there were plenty of things to make us feel right at home. Only thing I would say is that it says it can fit five people but that’s on an actual bed, a futon and a twin size pullout couch so it was a bit uncomfortable. But that information was in the fine print that I didn’t read well enough, so not the fault of the host. Everything was so clean and a great place to spend time with family.

This was our 4th time to stay, this is and outstanding place with all types of wildlife. Highly recommended, Valery and Keith are awesome hosts!

Favorite place I’ve ever stayed. The house and the view was even prettier than in the photos. It was a long drive for us from Houston, but worth every minute. Only regret was not staying even longer!! We will have to come back we loved it so much. I was a little worried that it might be cramped with the other houses but it was surprisingly secluded. And I didn’t think an A frame house could be so spacious! Carleen created such a cozy and welcoming space and went above and beyond. Loved my stay!!!!!

Jennifer's place was such a gem for our 10 year anniversary! She takes great care of the little things, and personalized our stay with a welcome note and homemade cookies. Weoved waking up in the morning to drink coffee and watch the birds ( and chickens), and it was great to have a pickleball court right there that we could use until we got too hot! Close to Boerne for fopd and exploring, but far enough way that it feels serene. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. It has everything we needed for a perfect father's day weekend. We loved how close the home was to the Rip Van Winkle Gardens and Tabasco Plant.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Lizards and tree frogs greeting us every time we went outside. Inside was clean and had everything we needed.

I wanted to take my girlfriend to the heart of the hill country so she could really understand the true beauty and this place did not disappoint! Everything was great! Everything! Quiet, quaint and romantic.

Absolutely wonderful time at the cabin! This is our 4th time at the cabin and it’s become a family tradition. This is just the best place to stay and we could not recommend this place more. We hope that we can continue to come back year after year. Even our 4 year old loved it and felt right at home.
