The listing was as advertised. It is located in a peaceful setting but is also within minutes of either Iuka or Cherokee. This is our second time to stay in one of Brooke’s listings/homes. She is an excellent host!

We enjoyed staying here. The reasons why we stayed here were because of the play pen and the king size bed. There were baby toys that were at the property which helped keep the little one occupied for a moment. All in all a good space to stay in Florence.

Savanna’s is the perfect place to stay in Florence! Everything about it is top notch. Easily walkable to all downtown. Extremely clean and comfortable, she was easy to communicate with and there’s just not one bad thing I have to say about our stay. Looking forward to and already planning another stay here.

We love old houses and this one was exceptional! The historic neighborhood was lovely and walkable - filled with interesting markers and plaques to read about Florence history. The bed was comfortable and the living room was divine to relax in of an evening. We also had the thrill of heavy stormy weather with funnel clouds and a power outage! Fortunately, Chelsea contacted the power company and they were right on it - with the excitement of a bucket truck in the backyard lifting guys up to replace a transformer while we watched. We loved Florence/The Shoals area and would love to return to stay at the Governor’s House.

Every single guest agreed that this was the best Airbnb they’ve ever stayed at and I couldn’t agree more. Matt and Tracy were so kind and helpful during our whole stay. They transported the kayaks and paddle boats for us, helped us get settled in, and seemed to have accommodated us at every turn. Every single time we forgot something, like magic it was in the house already for us! Including a first aid kit!!We got to meet Tracy’s birds and Desi, Duke, and Doby (the absolute cutest dogs ever). We woke up to deer at the door that weren’t afraid of us, did some bird watching and got to see a red headed woodpecker, and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. We had three kids under three and we felt that this Airbnb really stood out for how baby friendly it was. We felt safe to let the kids play with the toys provided and explore! We also greatly enjoyed the garden! My family couldn’t stop gushing about this place and I truly feel like it was worth every penny. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved this Airbnb! There’s two units - 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Our unit was upstairs and had an amazing porch and swing. We had our two kids who loved the dock and water access for fishing and swimming. The master bed was super comfortable. The highway can be seen and heard from the porch, but didn’t bother us when indoors. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back to stay for a few more nights

Charles was a great host! My family and I had a wonderful time well staying at his property. The property is Located Just outside of downtown in the historical district of Florence. It is a wonderful place to stay if you like to walk to a lot of the restaurants around the area. It is a peaceful place to stay, Great for winding down after a long day of activities

It was a great stay and place was very cozy. We didn't get to spend too much time outside as we wanted due to the weather and a few bees around the lounge area. Over all Charles was great and responsive. We hope to come back again.

Just a gorgeous place in a great location, absolutely terrific

Great location and open concept. The house had everything needed for a family, and the views of the water are unbeatable!

Overall we had a great time at Brandon’s place! The home had everything we needed. It is right on a river, but as the listing states, the trees across the river have been cut down so the view is of the highway that’s currently under some construction. The listing does state this, but just know that the photos haven’t been updated to show it. We were there for a baseball tournament so it didn’t affect us, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this may affect you. All that to say, everything else was satisfactory and if we ever need a place in Florence, we’d stay here again. The only other thing to point out is that the AC units are really noisy. While they do an excellent job of keeping the place cool, when they kick on, they are extremely loud. You can tell that even though the house is older, Brandon takes care of it well. While there, pest control and landscaping guys came. This stood out to us and was impressive. Last thing, bring your fishing poles! We loved the fishing!
