The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

After renovating the castle of Candeze dating from 1480, located in one of the most beautiful villages in France, we rehabilitated the lower part of the castle, to make it an apartment of 100 m2 with private access on one of the most beautiful streets of this medieval village. Nestled in the countryside, this gîte for 4 people will delight you. 1 double bedroom (160 cm bed) 1 sofa bed (comfortable 140) 1 mezzanine 1 terrace with a splendid view of the plain, the Montagne Noire and the Pyrenean chain. Made of stone and wood, the maisonette blends perfectly into its environment and inspires peace and serenity. The cottage, "Le Joyeux Liseron", is a cozy maisonette with terrace on stilts plus a nature area with beautiful views of the hills and private Nordic bath. The medieval city of Lautrec is located in the heart of the Tarn, classified as the most beautiful village in France. Located halfway between Lautrec and Vénès, you will find various amenities nearby: grocery store, post office, tobacco shop, bar, restaurant, etc... supermarket (9 km). The nearest airport, Castres-Mazamet, is 28 km (25 min) away. You can also walk or cycle on our various hiking trails. Including the hiking trail located just 50 m from the cottage.

This house 5 minutes from the center of Castres welcomes any solo traveler, couples, friends or family. Check-in possible by Laurie-Anne or Jérôme after 4pm or self check-in (code box for keys). This cottage is completely self-contained. Dedicated outdoor parking. Business travelers are also welcome. Everything you need (bed linen, towels, washing machine, dryer, ironing board) will facilitate your arrival.
