The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

Jump into the lake from the boat bridge and rinse yourself in hot water overlooking Himmelbjerget. Take your kayak and sail a morning trip and meet the heron. Enjoy your morning coffee in the pavilion with the wood stove on. Read a book in the double bed overlooking the lake or take the mountain bike and take a ride on the route outside the door. Cozy guest house with kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor and two living rooms with a bed as well as a room on the 1st floor. There's plenty of room and great views. Original condition with old carpets and a few punctured windows. The location is top for cycling and hiking in Søhøjlandet. 5 km to Himmelbjerget through the forest. 1.5 km to Ry station and the cozy harbor. The stairs are steep but with doors that can be closed if there are small children. We have had many great vacation experiences with Airbnb ourselves and want to welcome you!

Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg, and Skanderborg. Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex.
