Halvardhytta - Fjærland Cabins

Cabin with stunning views in quiet surroundings. Short distance to the fjord and a rowing boat is available during the summer months. The cottage has a mini-kitchen, fridge, small oven and microwave. Not dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and toilet, heating cables in the floor. Living room with lounge area, dining table and a cozy fireplace. The bedrooms are very small. Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

Imagine a few days where you can disconnect from everyday life and instead disconnect from nature. Sharpen your senses, wake up to the sound of birdsong and magnificent view of Sognefjord. Just row, silence, whizz over the pine crowns and burn the wood stove. Seldalen is an old spring sturgeon with a traditional, simple western Norwegian sturgeon cottage. Don't expect sun every day -nature is weather and you have to adapt to it! Walk from fjord to mountain, enjoy the vertical landscape and end the day with a refreshing bath in Huldrekulpen.

Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!
