Holiday houses in Lax

Perfect paradise for access to trails, mountains, a glacier, everything! We had a lovely stay - the apartment was perfect for two people with lovely views. The kitchen was outfitted well for cooking (make sure to shop for groceries in Fiesch before taking the cable car up, as it's a ~1 hour walk to Bettmeralp for groceries if you forget anything). We had lovely hikes up to the Eggishorn (the via ferrata was stunning and not too hard!), Moosfluh, and to the Aletsch glacier which you can walk all the way up to. The internet was good enough to work remote and take video calls. We would definitely stay again!

We liked the place very much and it was very good for our weekend stay for skiing. Patrick's flexibility and support was particularly appreciative.

We felt very comfortable, great location, quickly on the gondola to the ski resort, but away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful views! The house is cozy and clean, spacious and quaintly furnished. The underfloor heating and the fireplace were great. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need. The dishwasher was a little small for 6 people, but not bad... There was always a helpful answer to questions.

During our 3-day trip, it rained for ‌two and a half days‌! To make it worse, road construction at the mountain foot caused closures. But ‌Lisi’s warm heart and her stunning wooden cabin completely warmed us up!‌ You can see how she ‌kept the cabin’s hundreds-year charm‌ while perfectly adding modern comforts. It’s The MOST well-equipped Airbnb ever:‌ Full kitchen gear + free cooking ingredients + Medical supplies ready. You can even get fresh veggies in the garden if it’s the right season. When I flipped through the photo album of the cabin’s renovation, ‌I was nearly moved to tears‌. ‌ If you want ‌to avoid Switzerland’s tourist towns‌ and find real peace, This quiet cabin is your answer.‌

We had a wonderful week in Lax. Rosmarie and Moritz are very warm and helpful hosts. They were always very concerned about our well-being and that we didn't miss anything. The apartment is very nice and furnished with a lot of love for detail, you feel very comfortable, everything is super clean and there is everything you need. In a few minutes you can walk to the train station, from where you can quickly reach the ski resort. There is also a Volg right at the train station. The ski locker in the ski resort, which we were allowed to use, was the icing on the cake. We would book this apartment again at any time.

We felt very comfortable right away. The apartment is nicely divided into cooking, eating, living and sleeping. The kitchen is very modern and very well equipped - really nothing is missing. The living room with the huge sofa has space for the whole family. From the balcony you have a great view of the village and the whole valley and the mountains. A car is almost mandatory for this apartment, as it is about a 30-minute walk away from the village/train station. Since parking is available, this is no problem. Skiing in the neighboring Fiescheralp or Bettmeralp is very easy - the train ride is included in the plan. We had dream weather and the best slope conditions. This apartment was the best we've ever rented!

We immediately felt very comfortable and cozy in the beautiful wooden hut. Above all, the modern bathroom surprised us in the otherwise rustic cottage. The best of both worlds! We did not use the restaurants, but we did use the kitchen - in which everything we needed to cook and eat was available. Garbage bags were missing but after a message to Chantal, they were brought to us the same day. The way to get to the hut is a bit of a habit at first as it is a narrow road up the mountain - but is probably a matter of habit. In the morning, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view without huts blocking the view. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold when we were there otherwise we could have eaten and grilled in the garden but all in all it was a great stay and we would love to come back!

You can only feel comfortable in Corina and Pascal's Sunnehüsli. A beautiful apartment with lots of charm. The rooms are well laid out and nicely furnished. The views are simply breathtaking. Everything you need is available. Both hosts were always within easy reach if you had any questions. They gave good tips and were always very friendly and accommodating. We can highly recommend it.
