Ewe cottage retreat

DominikRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked this place for a stag do and honestly, it exceeded expectations. The whole group was overly happy with everything — from the clean, comfy setup to the brilliant location. But what really took it to the next level was the surprise helicopter ride — completely unexpected and an unforgettable touch! Massive thanks to the Andy for going above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to make memories with mates.

Stunning + Modern Little Home

PeterRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Lovely cozy flat with plenty of seating options and great garden space for relaxing. Just a 15 minute walk into Pocklington with plenty of places to eat. The kitchen had all the facilities needed and a very good shower in the bathroom. Carys's communications were very good and not intrusive. Highly recommended for your Pocklington and local area stay!

Acorn Barn

MarieRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Acorn Cottage was lovely, rural and peaceful. Ideal for a peaceful break and country walks. It is a little out for shops etc but that didn’t bother us. It’s what’s expected in the country. We did have a teen with us who would like to have gone off exploring on his own, but not really possible from here, but we didn’t know the teen was coming when we booked! Also had older mother in law with us who can’t walk long distances. The Cottage itself was beautiful and comfortable with all amenities necessary. We did have an issue whilst there but host very responsive and all was sorted promptly. I would recommend this cottage for a peaceful retreat or for a family with younger kids as area safe for them to play etc. Host, Ann was a very lovely lady, we saw her a few times as she has 2 adorable horses stabled close to the cottage.

Palomino Lodge @ Still Rabbit

BeccaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.

The Anvil, a tranquil hideaway with added bonuses

ChrisRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Julian and Karen were superb hosts! This place would be best enjoyed in the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful garden space and heating/cooking facilities on offer. Great little bolthole. Local pub serves superb gastro food. 8 minute walk away. There are several walks in the area. We did the "3 Pint Walk" from Sutton, to Newton and via the bank of the Derwent river to Elvington and arrive back in Sutton. 3 hours. 3 pints. If you want something different from York, go South East to Beverley. This place is good for York access, though. Pocklington looks like a good option for an alternative evening for food and drink, too.
