Wonderful location with very large wrap around balcony. We explored Caen and used it as a central hub to explore Normandy. Perfect spot for it.

What a fantastic apartment, my 2nd time staying here, everything is close by from restaurants to bars. Spotlessly clean, with great views of the castle. It’s lovely sitting on the balcony in the evening sun with a glass of wine. Great comms. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It is wonderful in Guillaume's apartment. You feel right at home. Everything is beautifully decorated, super clean and it was wonderful to enjoy this great view there. It is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. You can walk to the village or the beach in a few minutes. We will be happy to come back. 100% recommendation! Thank you for letting us be there.

Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! David was very warm and welcoming and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved the house which was very spacious and comfortable for five of us. The garden was a delight with beautiful roses in bloom and it was quiet and sheltered to sit out in and listen to the birdsong. It was quite one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

What a beautiful location and house. We were stopping for just one night on route south and this was a perfect place to relax, cook dinner and cool off in the lake.

Excellent accommodation. Especially suitable for families, two spacious bedrooms. The house is of very high quality, clean, everything is new and functional. Suitable as a peaceful base from which to make excursions into the environment. A real find!

We had a fantastic stay at Florence’s place during May. There were two families with 3 kids between us but it was never crowded and we loved the fact we could all have dinner together at night on the long tables. The house is in a beautiful peaceful location but still close to Bayeux and Caen. Would definitely recommend!

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

The apartment is very cozy and well decorated. Accurate to photos. It has everything you need on site. The residence is very pretty and quiet. Marie Danielle is a very responsive and accommodating host. We had a great time.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!
