Everything felt right with Daniel's place. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and location is great. I'd recommend this place to others!

My stay at the Rock House was incredible -- absolutely one of the most unique, spotless, adorned, and beautiful homes I've had the fortune to stay in. Tamela was proactively helpful, gracious, and curates a comprehensively equipped space -- everything you could hope for in an Airbnb host! I appreciated all of the touches that made my stay seamless, as well as the very comfortable beds. The location is also very peaceful, historic, and walkable. 10/10 stay; do yourself a favor and stay at the Rock House whenever you find yourself in the greater Detroit area!

We loved our short stay. Paul was a great host. It was a short distance from all local attractions.

Liz and Zach are great host. The place is spotless with plenty of room. The basement is very cozy with a very comfortable bed. Definitely the hang out spot in the house. The location is great. Right across the street from one of my favorite shops Retro Rescuers and very close to downtown. The backyard is adorable with a great seating area and enough space for your little pup to run around in. LGBTQ friendly. Check in directions were very simple and easy to follow. Would recommend to others and we would stay here again.

This house is absolutely perfect. It has everything you need, laundry, tons of cook ware and utensils and lots of space. It’s so charming and clean, very a typical of an Airbnb. You can tell the car and time that was put into this place. The location might be the best part. We didn’t have a car for the whole weekend and we didn’t need one as this spot is close to EVERYTHING in Royal Oak, even Ferndale isn’t far away. Will book again!

David is an exceptional host. The place was clean and had everything we needed. He really made us feel as if we were renting from a family member. He opened up his home and allowed us to use whatever we needed. The backyard was great for our dog. David responded to any questions we had within 5 minutes even offering us a late checkout if we needed one. I would highly recommend staying at David’s place.

Bill & Rick were very accommodating and great communicators. They were responsive and available. They provide a pet friendly space that is very clean with everything you need. They even left us a welcome gift with pet treats and cookies. We recommend and will be back.

I had friends come out of town and we were all in agreement that this one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at. The host provided us with every amenity possible but whats really impressive is that this house had absolutely every little amenity. So many convenient tools and gadgets in the house and they were all quality products. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen had everything possible!! We would come back here without a doubt. Really cute and beautiful house. Thank you for the stay!!

Great spot very convenient and walkable to town, nice open space, and I liked that it had workout equipment too in the basement. Check in and check out was extremely easy.

It was so great! 5th anniversary girls weekend trip for 10 gals in our 40s. I didn’t take an official poll, but we have travelled to Georgian Bay, Lake Huron and now here and this was a fave of more than a few! Beautifully appointed - we mentioned more than once that we wish this place had an Amazon storefront (give us the links!) Lots of places to sit and easy to move furniture around as necessary. Not a tonne of counter space in kitchen but with some improvisation it was easy enough to make do. Sleeping arrangements were the only bummer as we booked for 10, not realizing that included 2 on an air mattress. Just read closer than we did and you’ll be fine. It was a great stay! And the privacy was great as we like a little karaoke 🎤 in the evening hours. 🎶

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and had all required amenities and we enjoyed. We would want to visit again once in summer.

A peaceful getaway for our little family. It really does have everything for a relaxing stay. The view is amazing, the pool was nice and big very clean with tons of floats. The hot tub was great 😌. Cooked out on the grill when it was nice out and ordered pizza and did a puzzles when it rained, we couldn’t have gotten a more relaxing mini vacation. I will definitely tell friends and family about this location. Our dog 🐕 loved the fenced in yard and we very much enjoyed the fire pit! If we actually knew how to kayak we definitely would have used what they provided. Don’t hesitate with this hidden gem! You won’t regret it.

Beautiful site. Great for the kids. Enjoyed the restaurant, bbq dinners, smores on the bonfire, playing at the pool/splash pad, fishing (found lots of turtles), closed off park area, walks etc.. lots to do. Kept us busy and outside all weekend which is what we were looking for! Place was nice and looked new. Perfect for a little getaway!

A very cozy cabin and great location. The cabin was a perfect place to spend time with family or friends. It was a pleasant time spent with my family. The first two days we had a pleasant weather, so we went to beach. The beach is perfect for family with kids, and has a very nice restaurant close by where we could have lunch together. Next two days, the weather changed but we gladly stayed at the cabin, and enjoyed the fire pit, barbecue by the picnic table, and Jenga (they have a big Jenga). The pool table also made the nights more special. They have bikes available but we didn’t have a chance to use it but I think they are a bonus. We will definitely come back!

A GEM BY THE LAKE - With its lakeside location in a quiet neighbourhood, Rosanne’s property is super welcoming with a well equipped, large kitchen-cum-dining space, facing north, which is open to the south (back) great room, with its comfy sofas and chairs, games equipment and desk with brochures of local area points of interest, maps, etc. Through floor to ceiling windows of the great room, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the lake inviting you onto the outdoor verandah to enjoy the sights and sounds (sunrises, sunsets) that’ll wow you! The second floor main suite is idyllic - a huge south-facing room with loveseat, ensuite bathroom, humongous closet and a balcony with comfy seating. Two more bedrooms (north facing) are on 2nd floor, with a 4th downstairs (west-facing). Another bathroom (east side) is also downstairs. Every space is extremely clean, well decorated but not cluttered. One of THE best homes we’ve experienced. Thank you Rosanne for hosting us and our pups.

We had a great time at the cozy cottage. Tracey was very responsive and friendly in her communications. And we really appreciated the access to Point Peelee national park.

Wonderful stay in this space! Everything was exactly as described, and the water views from the bedrooms were lovely. Bright, open, and inviting space. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Loved the kayaks, and the fire pit - so nice that dry firewood was included. We don’t make use of the game room, as the weather was perfect for relaxing outside, but it looks like a lot of fun! Very clear instructions, and friendly and responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot recommend the hosts highly enough, but I do intend to try. My wife will certainly return for an even longer stay in the future. There are very few hosts that make guests feel like genuine friends on vacation, rather than paying customers. Jodi produced an invaluable list of dog friendly patios and wineries throughout the area, most of which we did not know catered to pets. We thought that we were booking a place to primarily sleep and use as an area base camp; what we received was a very private sanctuary to recharge and enjoy with our dog. The hosts were just THE MOST FANTASTIC people. Neither we, nor or boxer, wanted to leave.

We had the best weekend there we will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone to go give it a try!

Beautiful, clean cottage with a very goodl view of the lake, has all the amenities to have a relaxing stay including indoor games, multiple TVs and an outdoor hot tub and Sauna.
