First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Just 15 minutes north of down town Lawrence, the Big Barn at the Snake Farm Ranch is perfect for a weekend romantic getaway or a family vacation. Ask us about our on site hiking and mountain biking trails if that is something you are interested in. The apartment is on the top floor or a beautiful post and beam barn. Newly constructed, the barn was built to add guest quarters to the main house and to provide sleeping and practice facilities for our local youth mountain bike team(s).

The property is 20 acres with a 2 acre pond, 1 acre of vegetables, 2 dozen goats, (large but gentle) guardian dogs, and a flock of chickens and ducks. The camp sites are scattered around the property, secluded from one another. Enjoy a day of fishing or strolling the property and finish off a relaxing day by watching the sunset by the fire.

Our Country House is ideal for family fun, Kansas Speedway fans, KU & KC visitors, or just a simple private getaway! Guests have the entire lower level to themselves, and sole use of the rear entrance, swimming pool, and back yard! We live on the upper level with our own private entrance in the front. Complete privacy! When not exploring nearby sports, eating and shopping, you can relax in the quiet of our 26 acres.

Two story Bungalow with fenced in back yard All appliances, including AirFryer, Instapot, Stand Mixer, Keurig Fully furnished and outfitted for comfort and convenience. This is a charming family home that I have personally lived in for quite some time. It maintains many original features, such as hardwood floors and wrought iron railing, while having also been recently updated for modern living.

Tucked in the woods is a beautiful home with a lower-level guest quarters. The home was built in 2021 on three acres surrounded by trees. It is peaceful and relaxing, and is within minutes of shopping, sports, and restaurants. You will be able to enjoy a putting green, cornhole, and a quarter-mile walking trail during your stay.
