Easy access to Mount Gretna's famous attractions including The Lake and Beach, Playhouse, Jigger Shop - and numerous hiking and biking trails. Close to Hershey, Lancaster, and Harrisburg.

As you turn off the paved road onto our country lane, you can already feel yourself relax as you prepare for a time of rejuvenation at Apple Lane Getaway. You can choose between hiking the Appalachian Trail, visiting Hershey Park, or playing a round at Lebanon Valley Golf Course just down the road. This old blacksmith shop is now a luxurious & comfortable place to stay on your honeymoon, a business trip, or a peaceful place to rejuvenate. The Loft's spa like large bathroom has become our guests favorite reason to stay here because of its large shower with twin rain head shower heads coupled with an extra long, 2 person soaking tub with fireplace.

Farm Country Getaway

Relax in this newly-renovated apartment bordered by cornfields. This property offers a peaceful country retreat with easy access to Hershey (30 min.), Lancaster (40 min.), Harrisburg (30 min.) and Mt. Gretna (10 min.). Please note: My family lives above the apartment. We aim to be quiet when we have guests, but you may hear sounds of small feet, small voices, etc. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate service animals due to a family allergy.

The barn was built in the early 1800’s and we completed its renovation in 2014 and an upgrade in 2020 to include air conditioning in the whole barn and new reclining leather couches. It is very special to our family and we hope it will be for you as well! It is a wonderful spot to relax and refresh and make lasting memories.

Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin

The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.
