Staying in Maisie's beautiful log cabin home and getting to know her were both wonderful experiences! Her home, inside and out, is immaculate and spectacular, unique and such a treat to 'live in for a little while'! You surely won't be disappointed staying with Maisie - she could not be a nicer person nor could she be more welcoming, helpful or accommodating! Her home is located in peaceful countryside just minutes from Kemptville. A surprising bonus to our stay with Maisie [besides her two loving feline companions!] was to discover that she and I lived in the same rural part of MB when we were young and went to the same high school!! Talk about '6 degrees of separation'!! We will most certainly look forward to another stay with our new friend, Maisie, should we travel to Kemptville again! Thanks, Maisie - you're the best! Robin’s place was fantastic. The outdoor space of the cottage is definitely a highlight. The patio and dock area are spacious and have a lot of comfortable seating. The rental also included kayaks, canoes, lawn games, and more which really enhanced the experience for my group.

We had a great family vacation at the cottage. The house is beautiful and well set up to accommodate a big group. We had everything needed to cook meals, have a fun gathering with board games by the fireplace. Located right on the lake, amazing views, fun kayaking and exploring around. Close to shops. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing trip! Justin was so helpful and responsive. The place looked just as it was described. Beautiful kitchen. Fun living space. The ferry ride was so quick and easy. Overall had a great experience and would recommend it!

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Benjamin’s private island cottage on Charleston Lake was fantastic! The island was stunning, and the provided water activities equipment was a great bonus. We loved exploring the lake, swimming, and enjoying cozy fires each night. Benjamin’s hospitality made our family getaway truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Like other people noted the cottage and it’s setting were better than the pictures portrayed. The site is large and very private with beautiful views from the both the cottage and waterfront. The lake is pristine with a sandy entry and a safe area for swimming. We enjoyed exploring the lake in the two kayaks and the canoe. The cottage itself is quite “cottagy”. It was very comfortable with large rooms comfortable furnishings with a great view of the living and dining room with plenty of space to hang out for our group of six. The cottage has a smart layout with two of the four bedrooms and one if the bathrooms a level below the others. The kitchen was adequately equipped with the bonus of sharp knives (so unusual in a rental) if you like to cook! The deck had a fantastic view from a treetop vantage point. I am looking forward to coming back to this beautiful spot.
