Welcome to our charming thatched farm house anno 1650. The house is fully detached and situated on an old cheese farm. Recently completely renovated, it has a spacious living, kitchen, 3 bedrooms accommodating up to six persons. Situated along the hiking path 'Grote Polderpad', you can visit wind mills, spot waterbirds, and enjoy the alpaca's at our farm (shearing occurs this weekend). The wagon shed is located on a former farmyard near Leiden, the sea and lakes. It is a beautiful green area with a forest in the backyard and 10 minutes by bike to the heart of Leiden city center and 15 minutes by car to the sea. Furthermore, it is located between Amsterdam and Rotterdam and 10 minutes drive to The Hague. The location is amazing. Our guests can use 1 parking space on the property. Our house is ideal to visit Amsterdam from for a long weekend or holiday. It's located in the old centre of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, with shops and supermarket just down the road. Nice restaurants and terraces on the river are around the corner. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel has many nice cycling routes in the area. Amsterdam is reachable with public transport (30 minutes), bicycle (40 minutes) or by car (15 minutes).

Just get away from it all in this soothing, centrally located accommodation overlooking the Braassemermeer. Half an hour away from Amsterdam, Keukenhof, Haarlem, The Hague, Rotterdam and the beach. In short, a central place with lots of access roads.
