Høgestølen is located about 25 min. from Hemsedal center (alpine center), 15 min. to grocery store, and about 5 min. to a network of cross country trails. The cottage is heated with electricity and firewood, heating cables in the bathroom and combined washer/dryer .The cottage is steep to the east! Car way to the door, possible to park right outside. Here you can experience total silence. In the summer there will be cows and sheep in the area.

Great hiking opportunities in the area. If you are an experienced hiker, you can take the trip up to Bergflagget. It is about 700 meters from the apartment up to the top, with a pavilion where you can enjoy the view over Leira.

Det er også fin alpin anlegg i Aurdal 10 min med bil, og finne skiløyper i samme området Huset har 2 etasjer , men bare øverste etasje - med 2 soverom , stor stue , kjøkken bad og toalett er til utleie . Første etasje er ubebod,- Ale private gjenstander er lost på eget rom.
