The surroundings are worth of a nature movie with several autochthonous species present, namely oaks and chestnut trees, agriculture activities and even a goat herd is still present. As points of interest, you may find: Castelo da Lousã, Ribeira das Quelhas Walkway, several river beaches and several museums.
