Holiday rentals with lake access in Leisure Island

We really enjoyed our stay here. lovely home, fully equipped with everything we needed. Everything is in good condition unlike other places we've rented. The best part was the location, a few steps to the nearest bridge to get into Thesen Town. We didn't drive at all when we stayed there. Also lovely to walk within the Thesen Estate in the evenings. Faith was incredibly friendly and thorough upon check in. We were very pleased with our stay.

A great spot by the Knysna lagoon. What impresses most is the stylish and elegant house with Japanese design. It's not too large and not too small - feels elegant and cozy at the same time. We enjoyed the wood stove, the really nice braai area and most of all the location. As a bonus, it's five minutes walk by the lagoon to the newly refurbished Food Lovers Market, too. Our host was professional, friendly and really sharp. Would book again.

منزل جميل ودانييل شخص لطيف من الصدف الجميلة انه انقطع الكهرباء لمدة قليلة جداً وجاء مسرعاً لإصلاحة وكانت لحظة جميلة لمقابلته وتبادل اطراف الحديث بعد ان اصلح الكهرباء وتناولنا القهوة معاً ،، حصل لي ظرف وطلبت منه ان اقطع اجازتي واعود لكيب تاون وبالفعل تعامل معي بشكل لطيف وودي اشكره جزيل الشكر

We felt so at home! Spacious. Clean and everything else. The little bits we always forget about when going away, It was there when we arrived (like they knew). All I can say is we will be back for sure.

We had a fabulous stay!!! Lauren was extremely responsive and welcoming. The space was absolutely beautiful, neat, private and overall lovely. Anyone looking for some time away & love being surrounded by nature, this is perfect!

We were met at the home on arrival by Gail.Very friendly.Walked us through the home and explained the functioning of the home.Kept in contact with Gail via texting-she reponded promptly.Fantastic views from the upstairs bedrooms and balconies.Very private and peaceful.Home is in a gated communty so very safe.Short walk or drive into town.Laundry was a bonus.Would definitely recommend.

Morne is a super host. The house is way more beautiful and spacious in real life. It was a really magical getaway for my family. The street lights reflecting on the water of the lake at night was one of the picturesque highlights for me. We would definitely like to stay there again in the very near future. Thank you Morné.

We had a fantastic stay on Leisure Isle. The house is well equipped and ideally located! The host, Elma, is great. She went out of her way to provide us with a wonderful stay! She continuously checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! The property comes with loads of sporting equipment for visitors to use. This makes it extra fun for kids! I can strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit Leisure Isle and Knysna. Thanks Elma for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed in one of Tine’s luxury glamping caravans as the room on AirBnB got double booked. Tine solved the matter very professionally and upon arrival she was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for our short but beautiful stay!

Colette's Airbnb was divine! The place is truly breathtaking, the pictures are accurate and the space is thoughtfully put together with everything you could possibly need. She is highly responsive checking in with you to see if there is anything you need to elevate your experience. The Airbnb is nestled in a peaceful nature reserve overlooking the Knysna estuary. It is located out of the hustle and bustle of town, with Knysna's hotspots just a stone throw away for your convenience. Colette went above and beyond host duties, offering trips to town when she was heading out, showing me lovely places to visit and sending exclusive restaurant offers of the day! She is a joy, and I would recommend her place to anyone looking to relax, unplug and reset. Colette's Lovely Airbnb is the only choice to make. I look forward to booking it in the summer and any other time I happen to be in Knysna.

Beautifully located within the Thesen Island precinct with access to its facilities this unit is a penthouse with convenient access from your parking directly to the unit. Well maintained and kept well by Douglas who communicates clearly and is always close by if you need additional support.

We had a lovely stay, the place is very clean and neat, beautiful views around, and nice that there are restaurants within walking distance. The place is perfect for family of four and I will definitely stay there if in area again.

I’ve stayed in Thesen island many times but the helpfulness and friendliness makes the stay special. Wonderful place, well equipped with everything you could need and some.

We had a marvelous holiday in a beautifully, peacefully setting. Noreen and Simon made us feel welcome, and were lucky to see the newborn faul "cracker" borned on Christmas.

Allison was super friendly , gave us great recommendations for activities and kid friendly places. Randomly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

Every now and then you come across special places in the world, places you feel truly priveleged to be able to visit. This is one of them. It's a wonderful place to stay, it's a whole experience being there, both wild and rustic but also comfortable and set up just right. The cottage is perfect. A great space for two to share, cosy and decorated with a minimal but excellent taste, the kitchen has everything you need, be it for storing some snacks or more concerted cooking. (of, for example, delicious things you find at the nearby Sedgefield market). The area is wonderful to explore, jump in a kayak and go! And, sure, you can hear the traffic across the way, but at least in mu opinion, it just doesn't matter. Stay for as many nights as you can, you're going to want to. We love staying at Paula's place, it is a divine cottage complete with everything one needs. Set in a beautiful garden, which our border collies just love. We thoroughly enjoy our holidays at Paula's place and will definitely be back again.
