Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Leisure Island

Five friends stayed at this home comfortably as their are 5 separate bedrooms, three with ensuites. The lounge and dining areas are also spacious and light filled. Nicci was an amazing host communicating proactively re checkin but also during our stay suggesting activities and restaurants.

The home: well thought out design, amenities galore, tastefully decorated; The neighbourhood: friendly, peaceful, in walking distance to the lagoon and the famous wild oats market, The overall experience was magical, and just what we needed after a few stressful weeks. Silverspray is such a special place. A number of generations have had the absolute privilege of calling this their holiday home. Well worth the stay. Views to die for, bouys right outside to anchor your boat, outdoor shower for after the fun. This is a must stay. Loved it

Lovely comfortable home in a tranquil location with beautiful walks in the neighborhood. Large well appointed kitchen with two outdoor seating areas. Sian was helpful and always available. The complimentary filtered water, coffee beans, chocolate and wine were all much appreciated and made us feel right at home.

Excellent in every way. Host, communication, the space, the surrounding area and check in were great!

Watching the tide come in….watching it go out….so relaxing. Super weekend with baby, kids, grandparents and dog. Playing in the lagoon all day and enjoying the quiet splashes of the fish in the evenings. Thanks again Charles and Ryk

An excellent stay in a big home with plenty of space. Tatum was helpful and responsive to any issues. It suited us very well while we visited friends in the area. Knysna is a great location for a holiday or just relaxing. Lots of fabulous restaurants available. Leisure Island and Thesen island ( both very close by car) are lovely places to visit very easily.

This is a beautiful place right on Bollard Beach. We loved it. Lezane was very helpful.

Lyndall was an amazing host, always friendly and willing to help. Ria's Rest is a cute little flat, was clean and comfortable and if I ever come this way again I'll definitely book in here. My stay here was wonderful and really pet friendly. I can only say great things about Lyndall, her husband and pet babies

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The area was peaceful and the place was stunning and neat. The amenities were great to use. The host’s company was great and was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

Beautiful property and loved our stay.

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Honeymoon castle. The view we woke up to every morning was the perfect way to start the day. It definitely felt like we rested with the sights of seals, lots of birds and we even saw otters the one day. Will absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to have a peaceful honeymoon or even just a vacation. We will definitely be back one day.

Our family had a great stay. The house is clean and comfortable. The house is well located on Leisure Island, a close walk to the water and village center. Pet friendly and secure. We would be happy to return in the future.

Elaine’s place was just what we needed for the week! She is also a lovely host and we can really recommend staying there. It was just perfect for us.

We had a fabulous stay at Malcolm`s place. The peace and quiet was well needed and everything for our stay was present. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed playing in the beautiful garden and being able to run around the entire property. Restaurants and shops are conveniently located for those times when one does not feel like cooking or need to pick up something quickly. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay at Malcolm`s place again

For golfers this is a fantastic location as there is easy access to a least five excellent courses. If you like a tranquil home with great views and security this is the place for you. Ideally situated on the Garden route it is a great place to base your explorations. Delarey is a very amenable and enthusiastic host who ensured that we had a great stay with all the home comforts and pizza oven! We are looking forward to returning next year.

First off, this house is FANTASTIC! Wow - what a stunning location, so much space, and beautiful home. Linda was also a great host, and very responsive before and during our stay. I had a few questions and she always responded promptly. There were a couple of minor annoyances when we arrived such as no wine glasses, empty gas tank and broken toaster. But this all got dealt with on the same day when we flagged it, which we appreciated. We had a fabulous week - how could you not at a place like that? - and would definitely recommend

Fabulous place to stay. The loft was better than the photos portray. So clean and beds so comfy. Would recommend for sure. Elvona and Eddie are lovely and hospitable. Eagar to show you the fabulous view from the other side of the house so one doesn't feel like one has missed out. Some of the view can be seen from one of the bedrooms anyway. We chatted over morning coffee before we left on our travels. Glad we chose two nights and not just one . Thanks to you both and your little one !

We absolutely loved our stay in this magnificent location. The house had everything we needed and the kayak was great given you are on the water. It allowed us to explore. Trish was a lovely, friendly, responsive host. I would definitely recommend her place and we hope to be back next year.

Our stay with Sonet was fantastic, our 5 border collies were accommodated due to the fenced garden in front. This was one of our main criteria. Thank you. The space was modern, well equipped and functional. Was great that the property had solar power backup should lead shedding have come our way. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and air fryer, microwave oven. Close to the beach although during our time there the walk way was under repair due to flood damage (municipal responsibility). Loved our stay and especially the peace and quiet and closeness to beach. Felt right at home. Great hosts will return
