Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Historic city wall house

The Muurhuusje is an authentic house located on the Vischmarkt and is built against the old city wall of Harderwijk. There is a possibility to get from the house to the top of the city wall, where there is a small sitting area. Within walking distance, you will find many restaurants, a boulevard with beach and harbor, a cozy city center with shops and restaurants. The Dolphinarium is within walking distance. From this accommodation, you can do all kinds of activities. Free parking is included with booking.

We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome.
