The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). In a very convenient location compared to the beautiful forests of the Oranjewoud and the center of Heerenveen, this cute holiday home with its own sun terrace and unobstructed views of the garden is located. This former garage has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking nearby and the Frisian lake area is a 20 minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers plenty of cozy terraces and bars.

The Nutcracker: cozy farmhouse front house

On one of the most beautiful rural roads just outside the village of Sint Jansklooster is the renovated humpback bridge farm from 1667. We have furnished the front house of the farm as a cozy stay for 2 guests who are eager for peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has a private entrance . You have access to 2 canoes and a men's and women's bike. The many cycling, hiking and canoe routes let you experience the National Park Weerribben-Wieden in all seasons.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.
