We absolutely loved our stay here!!! The house was beautiful inside and out. We loved the hot tub, sky light, and fishing the lake just steps away from the house. Tony and Shellie were incredibly helpful and the food you can order from them was amazing. They truly do go above and beyond to make sure you’re having the best experience possible. Could not recommend this place enough!

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

Unfortunately, we were there for a family funeral. So therefore there was very little advance planning/research that could go into the preparations for our stay. We were in a situation that forced us to act quickly and to take a chance. Well in this case, we got lucky! The property was scenically beautiful and well furnished. It was on the smaller size for 3 adults, but we knew that in advance. It was certainly an all around good experience and we would eagerly repeat and or recommend it.I even made a new four paw'd friend. The only issue at all is my remorse for possibly offending our host by noting the driveway angle. It was not a critical issue, but more of a 'wow' reaction at how quickly it rose from the babbling stream below! You really need to visit to understand. As you come down from the top of the hill and main highway, you quickly transition into a landscape that is indescribably beautiful and picturesque.

Creekside Cottage Retreat

This was my second stay at Creekside Cottage aka Home😊Next one coming up in July. The cottage is clean and spacious yet cozy. There have been upgrades since my first stay in February, what a nice surprise to see an electric fireplace, a new sofa ( the other one was great too😂)that you never want to get up from and small touches that I noticed weren’t there before. Never hesitate to book this retreat. The outdoor surroundings, the sound of the creek are enough to make me come back, but the screened in porch with a swing make it a done deal. The entrance room with the daybed is where I with my little dog sleep, the windows up and the sound of the water rushing by ensures a good nights sleep. Unfortunately, my visit was cut short because my dog(Ditto) had a medical emergency and needed to be hospitalized. Brian and Amy were very sympathetic to my circumstances offered compassion and empathy. They changed my reservation to exclude the days I had to cancel. Finer people you’ll never find.
