5 stars are not enough. A special place in a special location

Alfonso hostel has been perfect for our family, we slept all 5 (2 adults and 3 children aged 2, 5 and 8) in a single bedroom with 6 beds, the bathroom is shared but is in the same door of the bedroom. Keep in mind that there are no sheets or towels included, but that is not an issue as they can be rented in the same place. It's about a 15-minute walk from downtown and there's always a place to park next to the hostel. Alfonso was very kind, attentive and respectful. I would definitely recommend it.

It was nice, in addition Afonso informed me of a reservation error and contact airbnb to fix it and they returned the money to me. Alfonso is familiar, so it is highly recommended.

Excellent welcome and deal with Alfonso, he is a guy who is passionate about his hostel and has it spotless. I'll be back for sure. Of course, if you're a little "Fresita" with sharing with other people it's not your place. :)

Amazing stay! This hotel is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful nature around, great views, very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. The hosts are very attentive and caring, they made us felt like home.

The experience and location was great as I was going to do a nearby hiking trail. Spacious room with bathroom, wifi, TV... everything you need, even a refrigerator. The receptionist was nice. Recommended!!!

We were with the baby for a weekend, the hostess super attentive to everything, I also help us find places to eat, to do in the area. Very rich food, we were right at home. Everything is very clean, the area with a great view. We will definitely be back. Thank you for being so accommodating🤗

We had a wonderful stay at Mecia and Javier's place, perfect for resting and exploring the surroundings of this wonderful place. Together with their staff, they welcomed us with excellence, natural and generosity . We were perfectly comfortable, we shared our respective experiences and had valuable good times.

Beautiful place with an amazing view over the lake. We had a cozy and quiet weekend with hardly anyone around - perfect to do a little hiking and relaxing close by.

Very easy to find, the entrance was flexible. The place is second to none to disconnect, very nice. He gave us good directions to restaurants and areas to make routes. The room is amazing. We will definitely repeat.

The view is spectacular. We stayed 3 very comfortable nights. The Duplex is very spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are very good, the kitchen has everything we need. They left us complimentary details that came to us very well. To go with children it's great because they also have a place to play. It is very well located to go to Las Médulas, the Palacio de Canedo and Ponferrada. Lara, Lucio and Marta have been very friendly and helpful. We'll be back

A very quiet and comfortable village, everything is very close to the stay. In addition, the stay is very comfortable. The bathrooms and rooms are very clean. The common room is large and perfect for socializing and resting with your friends. The kitchen has everything you need and there is a large terrace to eat there as well. I get a good experience from there and a couple of new friends too.

I would recommend the place if you want real peace. The village of Congosto is also very beautiful, but do not forget that there are neither restaurants nor shops. I can only confirm that urgent work needs to be done to open the spa - restaurant etc. then it is a divine place

The description falls short of what we find when we arrive at the place. It is a magical place that conveys tranquility and peace, perfect for families with all the details and all the comforts. A perfect place to disconnect. The facilities are spectacular and the views are beautiful.
