The Peat Stack

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed cabin in Tong. The kitchen and bathrooms are brand new and fully equipped, with a modern, thoughtful design throughout. The setting is peaceful and private, with lovely views of the ocean. A perfect spot to relax and recharge — 5 stars all the way!

Little Minch

What a place! We had the most amazing time. The Isle of Harris is amazing and Peigi's place was just so cute and gorgeous. Even though we had a slight mishap with the warm water supply it didn't spoil what was an incredible trip. Peigi was very keen to help us out. Thank you for a fantastic stay

Romantic rural idyllic sea cottage

JanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a wonderful week at White Cottage, luxuriating in the peace and beautiful setting. There are walks from the door, nature in abundance and a fascinating ancient church close by. The Golden Road route starts within a mile or so of the cottage and an abundance of beautiful beaches and good eateries are a short drive away. The cottage is homely, cosy and well equipped. Loads of local information is provided and the host was most helpful and friendly, both ahead of our trip and during our stay. Advance information was especially helpful.

The Bunker

JulianneRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Such a beautiful opportunity to experience the quiet and authentic side of Stornaway. We loved every minute we spent at The Bunker! The views were spectacular and the sunrises/sunsets ever changing. The kitchen was sprinkled with locally baked treats and even homemade jam for us to enjoy. It was such a delight. The only drawback, for me personally, is how I move forward with no warming towel rack in my life!! I can’t unfeel the delightfulness of warmed clothes on a chilly morning. They are not common in the states. On a scale of one to ten, The Bunker was easily a 72 ;).

Geocrab, Isle of Harris

A very warm welcome. The cottage is stunning, characterful, fun, peaceful, better than the photos. Exceptionally well provisioned with home baking as a lovely treat. Loved the expedition wall with lots of good local info and inspiration. But we would have been happy just sitting on a nearby rock watching seals. Thank you so much Neil and Jocelyn x

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

LoganRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We loved staying at the Larch Shed! Hallin is a beautiful slice of Skye with much to do and is a little off the beaten path from the main tourist areas like Portree. Jane was very hospitable and friendly, and we enjoyed our conversations with her. The Shed itself was exactly as described and very peaceful with an absolutely stunning view of the bay to start and end your day with. Everything was well appointed and we enjoyed the rustic decor. Highly recommend the YurtTea down the road for small breakfast and coffee, as well as nearby Stein Inn for amazing dinner. We also enjoyed Old School Restaurant in Dunvegan for dinner. Would recommend stopping at the co op on Forest rd in Portree for cooking provisions on your way up. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to our return!

The Stables Cabin

Really pleasant AirBnB. Kristy and Stefi were always available and open to questions. The location is very clean and is also very well equipped. Only the price is a bit high, but for the Isle of Skye and the location, the price was already relatively cheap. We will be happy to come back. 😊

Cuan Na Hearadh Pod

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wonderful pod with everything we needed for 3 nights . Great situation for us to tour around the scenic and fascinating Harris with its different scenery round every corner and wonderful sandy beaches . Only minutes from Tarbert with shops and cafes supplying all our needs . The lighthouse on Scalpay is magical with a delightful tearoom at the end of a walk . Very cosy and compact pod ,well equiped for some cooking and good size fridge .Comfortable sofa and bed .Beautiful , private and peaceful sea view . Grant is a great communicator and very quick to respond to any queries we had . Lorna’s (Lorna is Grant’s wife)Larder food van was parked nearby from which we feasted on amazing seafood including fresh scallops harvested by Grant . We would love to return . Many thanks Grant and Lorna for a memorable stay .
