The Adirondack Love Shack

No additional fees! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream in quaint, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 10x12, with a queen size bed, dresser, a mini-fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch, TV and heat/fan. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting by the fire. Please bring your own linens for the queen size bed and towels. Blankets for inside use provided. The shower/toilet are shared

The house is adjacent to former cross-county skiing trails that are used as hiking trails. You can easily make a short drive to Lake Placid & Whiteface for skiing. Keene with many hiking trails is 20 minutes away; many hiking trails are within 3-5 minutes drive (Rocky Peak, Hurricane, Baxter).

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Short drive to tons of hiking, boating, mountain biking and skiing and all that the Adirondacks has to offer.

The Trailhead

Our guest suite is located on our small horse farm in the foothills of the Adirondacks. The space has a cozy rustic charm, and has everything you’ll need for a quiet mountain getaway in any season. We are located right at the entrance of the Blueberry Hill Trails, a 1000-acre trail system designed for hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Head out the door and you're right on the trails.
